Our family of 3 stayed for a week in the first week of April. The breakfast was a real highlight - a range of carefully curated savoury/sweet choices changing daily. Our 3 year old loved the chocolate strawberries and choosing her own items! The vibe felt very relaxed and perfect for what we were after. It is child friendly - with a playroom, small park and kids menu, without being overtly kiddy. The grounds are impeccable and the pool area always very tidy and well kept. We particularly loved the smaller heated pool being that we visited in early April. Special shout out to Giusi and all her amazing waiting/front desk staff. They were all so friendly and so lovely with our 3 year old daughter and she was sad to say goodbye by the end. Alberto at the poolbar too!

We used the shuttle service into Ortiga a few times which was useful, however some return options after 7pm would have been useful to allow for you to dine in town (with most restaurants closed between 5-7pm). However appreciate that the shuttle is likely running at 'non-peak' times as a more affordable option!

Absolutely beautiful grounds, everything was very well thought out, from checkin to staff showing us to our room. We were pleasantly surprised to have a 2-floor suite - the AC was working perfectly and bathroom was clean. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant during our first night - it was a bit pricey but the atmosphere was scenic, the decor and ambience was way above our expectations for a 4* hotel. The pool was gorgeous and I love the little gazebos for those who wanted to be outdoors. Breakfast had a massive selection of homemade pastries and desserts - we adored the little hand blender to make our very own Sicilian orange juice! All the staff were super polite, helpful and patience. We would definitely come back!

GPS directions were sent to us in advance but it'd be helpful to provide a visual map of the route as well. Roads leading upwards the entrance of the hotel needs repair (pot holes were as big as the car itself!). Staircase inside the suite was quite narrow and we would have preferred the room on the same floor as I was fully awake each time when I had to use the toilet in the middle of the night going up and down the stairs...

The hotel, especially its garden, is magnificent. It offers many relaxing spots. The pool is generous and pleasant. Everything invites you to a day of relaxation. The breakfast is sensational, with a personal, friendly, and efficient service—just like at the reception. The room is comfortable, clean, and a good size to feel at ease for two people. A large parking lot is available.

Again, the hotel is very lovely, but be aware that the doors are not soundproofed at all, so you will inevitably hear other guests coming and going. While the food at the restaurant was good, we felt it tried too hard to be a "luxury restaurant" and didn’t quite succeed. If the place were a bit simpler, more casual , we would have happily dined there more often.

We had a warm welcome at the hotel as soon as we arrived, with Fabrizio taking the time to talk us through the facilities of the hotel and give us lots of useful tips about the area. Throughout our stay all the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and all the communal areas were also pleasant and comfortable. The grounds had lots of shaded areas to relax in and there was always plenty of room by the pool. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and thoroughy enjoyed both meals. Breakfast was amazing - so much to choose from and all fresh and delicious.

This place is a real gem of a compound just minutes away from Ortigia and the tourist chaos. The grounds are really amazing - the pool was one of the best I've ever seen, certainly at this budget. And the second warm saltwater pool in addition to the main pool was a treat. The food is really great. It's not quite the homey simplicity of an agriturismo, but the menu is varied and interesting, and everything is made fresh with attention to detail. Dinner was good, but it was breakfast that really shone. I've never seen a hotel spread like it, and everything was homemade. We were sad we had to leave too early in the morning to have the full experience the second day. (Though they made us a very generous to-go box). Finally, it's just an incredibly family friendly place without being dumbed down or "kidified." Our kids felt welcome and taken care of and the whole place felt like home.

Nothing. But pay attention to their directions for coming in if you are driving. We came the "exciting" way and it was an adventure.

It exceeded our expectations and made our marriage anniversary very special. It is like a little paradise close to Syracuse. Giusi and all the staff make you feel super welcome. We had to leave the hotel early twice during our stay, once very early to the airport and still then they made sure we had packed breakfast. The breakfast is just divine and every day there has been a new selection of Italian cuisine. If you want a relaxing retreat this is a place to go, it is a truly remarkable place and we highly recommend it. Thank you so much Giusi and all for our great holiday there with our family. Amazing staff. Fabrizio, Zaira and many others were super helpful at any demand. The owner/manager Giusi was always there helping out with hints and a constant eye for every detail. Breakfast is superb. I can defintely tell that the pictures at Booking.com do not demonstrate well enough how beautifully set is the property. The pool is huge and "resort-like" which is super-handy for the ferocious Sicilian summer heat, however it was never full of people. Just perfect. Spacious and clean rooms.

The food at the restaurant for lunch / dinner is a bit below the overall amazing quality of the hotel, but this does not lower the final grade 10!

Our stay was marked by friendly and attentive staff, an outstanding breakfast, and a delightful dining experience for lunch and dinner, with the restaurant manager ensuring our needs were met. The hotel also features beautifully landscaped grounds and amenities suitable for all ages, including children. Although the heated pool was not as warm as expected, it did not diminish our overall enjoyment.

The small pool which they said was supposedly heated was not and was cold. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed our stay.

Pros - lovely resort which is perfect for a few days to relax. The pool area is nice and big with plenty of space to sit. There is a smaller salt pool which is a nice addition. The breakfast really is amazing, as others have said. Every day it was fresh, handmade pastries which were really delicious. The restaurant is fairly reasonably priced, given the isolated location. There are plenty of places around the hotel to sit and relax and all the decor is very tasteful. The daily shuttle to Ortigia was really good and a reasonable price. But generally a great place - and couldn’t ask for more!

Cons - the service charge is a little pricey (3€ per person just for pool snacks is a bit steep), the snack bar is also only open during certain hours which feels restrictive in isolated resort where you can’t go anywhere else for food…. The location (20 mins from Syracuse / Ortigia) could be a bit isolated for some. You need a taxi or shuttle to see any sights. The pool shape is a bit strange, with a shallow patch in the middle. It didn’t feel that safe for small children but that didn’t apply to us.

Breakfast was excellent! Pool (both) and setup is lovely. Spent lots of time swimming with the family. Peace and quiet all round the property. One could relax. Staff were all very nice, smiled and were always very welcoming. Close to Ortigia. Shuttle available but did not use it as we drove. Attention by all staff regarding my son’s Allergies. Thank you all once again!

The roads (final bit) to the entrance are not very good and when arriving at night, not the nicest of roads to be on. It was fine though. Didn’t have black out curtains in our room (downstairs yes, upstairs no).
