- Room was veeery spacious, which was great with a plenty of space for luggage and hanging things - Extremely clean, I've rarely seen a bathroom clean as this - Staff was nice (though english was a bit of a struggle sometimes) - Breakfast was good - 3 days, the food was the same, but the selection was big enough - the taste was fine, nothing too great though - Impressive selection of breakfast drinks - cocoa, various types of coffee, almond milk, two juice types and so on - Felt like a great price to value ratio - Beds and pillows were semi-comfortable, definitely not "universal" (large and very soft pillows and softer beds) - it's both a pro and a con

- 5€ parking per day seemed fair price wise, but they don't regulate the number of cars parking there - one night, we had to park pretty much in front of the front door as the rest was full - Just one room key - It was tough to air the room - no AC, which was fine, but there were also no nets on the windows, so changing air was a little challenging despite having a vent in the bathroom

Waldhotel Eskeshof offers a relaxing and cozy stay surrounded by nature. The location is quiet and green, perfect for unwinding, yet still close enough to reach Wuppertal easily by car. My room was clean, comfortable, and had a classic design that matched the rustic charm of the hotel. The breakfast was generous and tasty, with a good selection of fresh items. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere felt warm and homely. A great place for a peaceful getaway or a stopover while exploring the region.

Breakfast, swimming pool and sauna were great, including the table football too ! A lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and bar. Staff all very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

No lift unfortunately. Although the family room was a very large size with two separate rooms, the main room was very empty in terms of furniture - a sofa would have been good.

Swimming pool,(but smal, but still it is a pool), sauna'a, good restaurant, good breakfast, good beds. All good.

Located in a nice area maybe a bit far from the centre of town of that is what you need. We walked to it, but it is about 45 min walk.

Location was very close to the hiking paths within a beautiful wooded area. The swimming pool was amazing and sauna was fantastic. Staff was really welcoming and kind. Pet friendly and children friendly hotel. Perfect for staying with the family and equally perfect for couples. The restaurant Goethestube serves typical local food and also has a dish called Knödel - exquisite. Düsseldorf and Köln are easily reachable by car. Tips for tourists: Wuppertal Schwebeban, the Neanderthal museum, the Zoo. Free parking.

I wish more salad / vegetarian options for breakfast, and better to serve bio eggs ( or at least Freihaltung not Bodenhaltung eggs🥲).

Room was good value for money although perhaps a little dated. Very soft pillows reminded me that I should always bring my own :-) Friendly staff on the front desk and also in the bar.

We chose it because it was outside the clean air zone and we were traveling in an old car with no sticker. Parking was good. Breakfast was good. Quiet location.
