Refine the following feedback: There were some issues with ants and other bugs gnawing at the hut we stayed in. Also the property requires a slight cleanup after the recent flood. Some of the areas still had debris sitting around.

I spent hours lying in the hammock, watching the river flow by and listening to the birds. It's an incredibly serene place but just a short walk across the bamboo bridge to Walking Street. There's unlimited chilled, filtered water 24/7 and free coffee etc in the morning. Staff are lovely. The bungalow's rattan ceiling and walls have a rustic charm.

As is often the case with bungalows, it was very dark. Also, it's quite small with nowhere to store stuff. The crampedness wasn't so bad for me as I'm a solo traveller, but if you are a couple, I don't think you'd want to stay too long. The communal rubbish bins should be emptied more frequently.

If you have the right expectations, this is a great place to stay in Pai. The bamboo bungalows are small but tidy and cleaned every day. The bathrooms are big and a little exposed to nature, so mosquitoes and ants are normal, but it is sufficient to keep the door shut and nothing will come into the room. Location is great, just a little away from the walking street and also very quiet (unless you have disrespectful neighbours). The breakfast is amazing, one of the best we've had in south East Asia.

Beautiful location along the river. It was very quiet and peaceful listening to the sounds of the jungle critters. Nice spots to bathe in the sun, sit on the swings or relax in a hammock if you have one of the cottages. Refillable drinking water. Friendly host who checked in with us each time we saw him. Literally a stroll across the bamboo bridge in to the town. A spot to store any scooters you want to rent. Only a 10 min drive to the Big Buddha, 20 min drive to the Canyon & 30 min drive to a waterfall etc.

Naturally you will get bugs due to where you are but we seemed to have an infestation of ants in the bathroom that we had to keep on top of. One evening we opened the door to find hundreds of ants all over the bathroom. We did ask for our room to be cleaned on day 2 which it was but it didn’t seem to help with the situation. We were only staying 3 nights so it was just about manageable to not raise a request to move.

Beautiful natural location just over the bamboo bridge. Very kind, attentive staff with a chilled vibe. It's easy to walk to the waterfall and the big white Buddha from here. The little hut was sweet and good enough for us. Good hot water, lovely balcony with cushions. It's also great to have a mosquito net.

It didn't bother us, but the bedroom area is just big enough for the big bed. We are travelling very light so there was room for 2 under the seat type backpacks on the floor. If you have a giant backpack or a suitcase you might struggle to find a convenient space to leave it.

The hut was exactly as I had expected from the publicity statement. It was basic, which was just perfect for the riverside and laidback vibes of Pai itself. The host was most helpful & a happy sole. I had an issue with the sink which was solved as soon as I had mentioned it. Recommend this site, bamboo bridge direct to the end of the walking market street. Close to the bus stations and tour operators. I would return happily.

The colour of the water from the tap, once my issue was resolved it became more appealing.

Location is excellent - a romantic bamboo bridge over a river to the main action of Pai, and the bungalows overlooking the river surrounded by nature is as idyllic as it sounds. Personally I’m a motorbike person, and the rides around this area are probably the best of my life - up to Doi Miang past the bamboo bridge, or over to the hot springs for a bathe, truly magnificent.

Only thing for me would be the late night music noise from the town coupled with the early morning sweeping from the cleaning staff or family of kids running around - it somehow is both vibes at once - a thronging active nightlife area AND an early morning get up and yoga vibe, personally I’m a night owl so luckily had headphones to put on at 8am.

The location is excellent for the Walking Street area and getting to the bus station. Staff were very pleasant and responded quickly when we requested an extra mattress for a child.

The site wifi was non existent in our hut (Mountain View) but not a major problem. Our hut had no wardrobe / storage space. Whilst this is no problem for a short stay, I would recommend one of the larger huts for a longer stay.

As huts are not completely sealed (bathroom area is open to the elements) If you forget to close doors mosquito & bugs galore gets in so spray yourself before going to sleep . The property suffered from recent severe flooding (google Chiang Mai 2024 floods & rainfall ) … please keep this in mind & be kind as they suffered a big loss & damage to property

Incredibly peaceful riverside place but 2 minutes to the Walking Street over a really sweet bamboo bridge. Make sure you get a riverside bungalow because the view is beautiful. Free cold water all day, and free coffee in the morning. Lovely chill out area. Staff are absolutely delightful. I can't wait to return. Note that, at this unbelievably low price, you won't get stuff like a wardrobe and maybe the shower pressure isn't ideal ... ohm 🙏
