Peaceful Stay in a Beautiful Riverside Property Had a lovely stay at this beautiful property! It’s located close to the river, offering a peaceful and scenic environment—a perfect escape from the busy city vibes. One of the highlights is crossing a charming little bridge to reach the main walking street area, which adds a unique and memorable touch to the experience. The rooms are clean and well-kept, and the property is also conveniently close to the main market road, making it easy to explore the local shops and food options. Overall, a great balance of serenity and accessibility. Highly recommended for those looking for a relaxing yet well-connected stay.

I wish I could’ve stayed there for longer than one night! But unfortunately I had booked other accommodation for the rest of my stay afterwards. The room was lovely and clean, with good AC and en-suite bathroom. The view to the river was so nice and calm, and it wasn’t far to the Main Street of Pai at all. The staff were so lovely too and I also had my laundry done, which they did fairly quickly.

Personally I’d prefer it if the bathroom wasn’t somewhat of an outdoor one, as it was exposed at the top. Meaning I had a couple of spiders coming in. The layout of the bathroom is a bit tricky where you go down some steps, then straight is the shower and to your right the sink, so you’d be walking on wet floor the whole time. Also wish my hut had a hammock like the others! Regardless, I’d defo stay again if I was ever to go back to Pai.

Perfect place to stay in Pai, only a few minutes away from walking street and the property is beautifully situated beside the river. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to check in a little bit early. The bed was very comfortable. We stayed on one of the bungalows with a fan (no AC) and we didn’t have any problems sleeping. Given the location beside the river there is mosquitos however a mosquito net is provided for the bed. Extremely good value for money and would recommend to anyone for their stay in Pai.

The rooms are a little dated but comfortable.

The small little hose that I was given, even thought was not that premium, it had it s own little vibe. The bed was just amazing. I don't know if it was just me being very tired, but I had a great sleep there. The location is also great. Close to the village center, but still quite and remote. The cherry on top would be the outside sitting areas. They have a number if chairs, gazebos and terraces all on the side of the river and all with theyr unique little arrangements. The Canary Guesthouse is a very nice place to sit if you enjoy nature and peace.

Overall the stay was pleasan and very spacious for the amount of people we have. Happy to have cats around as companion as well. :(

The only problem I have so far was the tubing people across the river. The loud music does kills the vibe around the stay and somehow it ruins the beautiful scenery you guys have with the river. Hopefully there's a way to resolve this in the future, cause is such a nice quiet location you have.

nice staff, clean, very good location and very quiet. you can rent a scooter from the guesthouse as well. adorable cats hanging around.

quite old ac, takes time to cool the room especially when you’re out of the room and the ac was off for a long period of time. wasn’t a big trouble for us.

Location by Pai river was so serene…our family room faced the grassy river bank and was v cute w clean stone front seat/bench and a hammock. A few steps from the bamboo/suspension bridge then the walking street which was fairly pumping! Room was very simple, fresh and very adequate…loved the shower once I got the hang of it!

Overall I found little to fault for this price - perhaps the aircon was a bit loud and beds could have been a little softer…

One of my favourite stays ever! This place felt like a homey resort! We had to book the family room for 3 as it was the only room left available at the time (we’re just a couple), and we’re so happy we did! Our room was right by the river, which you can even see from inside your room, had a gorgeous Greek style porch including hammock, the bed was super comfy (unlike the typical hard mattresses all over Thailand), excellent Wi-Fi, and overall great amenities! The communal area’s also by the river, with all the comforts you need. They also provided us a free ride to the other side when the bamboo bridge was closed due to the heavy rain while we were there. We only used the free ride once as you can rent motorbikes for just 100 baht in town, which gave us more freedom. It’s say a 5 min ride using the main bridge. Otherwise, when the bamboo bridge was open, it’s the quickest walk from the “paradise” part of the river to the Walking Street where everything’s happening. Even with the bamboo bridge closed, location was perfect! Already extended our stay directly with them <3

Leaving Pai :(

Great location just 5 mins walk across a bamboo bridge into Pai, walking st and bars/restaurants. Located on the sunniest side of the river. Small complex. Clean Attentive staff Firm bed, as with most of Thailand!

Our room had the noisiest sliding creaking door to ensuite shower room so not good for couples if one of you need the bathrpom in the night. A school is opposite so from 7am you are welcomed by a teacher's voice over a loud tanoy system that goes on until 4/5pm daily.

I liked the serenity of the place, being so central, yet very quiet. The stuff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom was great, clean and spacious.

I got a room facing a parking lot (used to be a garden). The room was dark and cold and was mouldy. I also didn't like seeing people parking in front of my room, it didn't;t give privacy. Also when leaving very early in the morning (6am) people being noisy and constantly waking me up.
