Probably the best part is the view! You can sit on your balcony or terrace and watch the sun set. There is a whole outdoor area with swings and chairs that you can enjoy the view from as well. There is even an outdoor fire pit. The location is a short drive from the river where you can take a stroll on a beach. It is also a short drive from the waterfall park. We stopped here on the way to and from Gaspese. On the way there we stayed in one of the cottages which was equipped with a kitchenette that had a stove, microwave, fridge and a small sink, as well as some dishes. On the way back we stayed in the hotel room which had a microwave and fridge only. Both very good. I would recommend the cottage if you plan to stay multiple nights and plan on cooking. The staff at the check in was very nice as well 😃

The inside of the cottages are clean and do not look like they are from a bygone era, like most motels do. The property grounds are really nice, grassy, lots of picnic tables, long and swingy chairs, playground for young children. You can relax and admire the sunset on the river or from your own cottage patio.

One of the double bed is so close to the kitchen you can open the oven door while sitting on your bed.

Comfortable bed(s), squeaky clean, convenient location and quiet. Our room had a deck with a beautiful view of the St Lawrence River plus a massive lawn with loungers, armchairs, a gazebo etc. I'm glad that we arrived in time for a stunning sunset because it was very foggy the next day. Not a lot of extra room but more than enough for us an all our stuff. We LOVE parking right in front of our room so we don't have to lug bags up stairs or thru a hallway. We could hear a muffled voices from the people in the next room but it was not a bother to us at all.

No kettle, just a Kurig coffee maker, but they didn't promise a kettle, so all good.

The location is great for a trip from Peterborough - to - Dartmouth as it makes a good one night stop over. It would also be excellent for a vacation stop with kids and pets as there is a lovely park and walking area and individual cabins for a family or two.

The website did not indicate the beds in the assigned room, I had assumed there would be two as I travelled with my mother. That was what we had on the prior stop over. It was fine a large double bed but we would have preferred two as I am a restless sleeper. Also more than two coffee pods would have been nice, or perhaps offered more at the office prior to closing.

The location was very convenient for us. We enjoyed the lawn in the middle of the cabins for walking barefoot in the morning dew. It was quiet and we had a magnificent view on the "fleuve d'argent". We enjoyed the fresh air.

I can't say that there is something we did not like. We got enough comfort for what we paid for. We did not expect to be in a luxury space. We were attending a class reunion at the Hotel universal and we did not want to pay big money for one night. The outside of some cabins need a good touch of paint. It would be great if there could be flowers to enliven your place.

The young man who greeted us after a long day of traveling was a breath of fresh air, very helpful and gave us free muffins for the kids on arrival , a BIG plus with the kids as we were starving!! Basic, clean, comfortable and small cabins with a fantastic view of the St Lawrence and a play area for kids and nice walking and relaxing areas for adults. Easy access from highway and to restaurants etc in area it was great for traveling through area on our way out to the east coast. Would stay again. Great value.

Beautiful location. Quaint little cottages which come fully equipped with everything you need to set up house for an overnight stay or longer.

It was very hot when I arrived, units are air conditioned but the unit is small and in the bedroom, I think ceiling fans in both the main living area and the bedroom would really help with cooling the place down. Also, cutlery was provided but sparse.

The cabins were lovely, especially when travelling with kids and a dog. More privacy, no noises from the room above or beside. Very cozy. With a fridge, stove and microwave. Parking right out front of your cabin. The best part is the park like property with a spectacular view. Picnic tables, loungers and a fire pit! I look forward to staying here again.

The grounds were a super bonus. It was so nice to see so many enjoying the outside area. The view was perfect over the water. The rooms were compact but functional.

I have never sat on more uncomfortable wooden chairs in my life. Seat cushions? I'm a big guy. Some bench type seating on the deck would have been appreciated.

The motel was clean, beds comfortable, bathroom was quite satisfactory and the views of the St. Lawrence along with grassy areas to walk are terrific. Highly recommend this motel with accommodating staff who were aware we might be a late arrival. The deck from the room was a surprise with a table to sit at and watch the ferry.
