There was a misunderstanding about our booking, which the host solved by putting us in a nearby studio apartment also managed by the hotel. The apartment was very quiet, a bit away from the road, and very comfortable. The floor was very nice, not carpeted. Breakfast was very good.

The misunderstanding apparently involved miscommunication between the hotel and booking.com. The hotel had a policy requiring a minimum 2-night stay because of the holiday weekend (which did not appear at booking.com).

Very clean hotel, Nice welcome in reception, large room with a nice decor, good location though not in front of the lake. Easy to park the car in front of the hotel.

Very loud music from The restaurant below until 23.00. The bed was so soft it felt like a waterbed, very uncomfortable. No refrigerator in the room, breakfast was ordinary - eggs very hard boiled and bread not fresh. Bathroom a bit outdated.

Clean and cozy place to live. Good breakfast. Friendly staffs. 5 to 10 minutes walk to BD and big supermarket.

1. No air conditioner, no elevator. 2. Need to open windows in summer time but there is no net preventing mosquitoes. So bugs and mosquitoes come into the room. 3. Hotel is next to church so it’s a little bit noisy every half hour while the church bell rings.

The room was quite large with a nice bathroom, two separate rooms and a bed in the living room. Great value for money. The restaurant's chef, Christian, prepared for us the best steak I have eaten in several years.

The staff had limited English so we could only communicate with them in German. We had to move the car in the morning because or limited parking.

The hotel was nice and the room was very comfortable. The bed was great. The bathroom has an unusual setup but it was convenient. The toilet was in its own room, while shower and the sink were in little "sitting room". That "sitting room" had also a little table with chairs, coffee maker. Was actually very useful setup. The location was not for tourism but just to have a stay on the way between Konstanz and next point of traveling. The breakfast was very nice, good selection.

The hotel does not have an elevator and dragging a suitcase several flights of stairs was not the best option.

Hotel recommended to eat at the restaurant Aquarama as it was 'Nice' - Worst experience I have had in my life. I walked into the restaurant, waited at the door to be seated - was shouted at by a man in public after asking if I could possibly sit outside. I walked out...

Very friendly staff. the complimentary breakfast was excellent! Additional services offered such as paddle board hire or electric bike hire was a lovely addition, perfect for the location of the Hotel, 10 minutes from the lake-side in a beautiful town. Plenty of restaurants nearby and excellent transport facilities to explore the surrounding areas.

While the free wifi was nice to have, the signal strength in our room was poor, and often cut out, but as we only really used it in the evenings, it was not a major concern! The shower room was very small, perfectly serviceable, but a little awkward to manoeuvre within. The lights in the shower room also did not light up the actual shower, just above the sink.

Everything was great ! However, I will focus on two parameters that, according to my principles, are non-negotiable. For example: 1. Friendly and warm atmosphere from all employees. 2. Very clean room and all other hotel areas.

The check-in time is very late (at 16:00). Half of the vacation day, has gone.

Breakfast was excellent, coffee machine, orange juice, bread and cheese, various meats all delicious. We had a meal in the restaurant which was tasty and the staff were wonderful despite our limited German language skills.

Lovely single room with a balcony looking towards the street. Nice shower and comfortable bed. Good location with a 5 mins walk to the lake. There was parking & secure bike storage inc charging around the back of the hotel. Adequate breakfast with good choice and there was outside seating too. Overall, a clean well-run hotel. Staff I did see in the morning were friendly

Turned up at 18:00hrs to find hotel locked, after a call I was given a door code and told by room number so I saw no memeber of staff before breakfast. Think this is common in German hotels. Some traffic noise in the morning from nearby road.
