The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When I needed a quiet place to do a remote meeting, they found me a room with a desk and even turned on the air conditioning just for me. The pool is great for swimming. It's large and well-maintained. The hotel is located in a peaceful area, surrounded by trees, making it perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway.

The only downside is the Wi-Fi, which doesn't work well throughout the entire hotel, it's only reliable in certain areas. If you need to work its not ideal but for some quite weekend is actually perfect.

After reading the reviews we were a little worried but really enjoyed our stay. The building is fantastic and in a great location, i imagine back in the day 30years ago it was an amazing place. Yes the hotel inside is a little dated but the staff made up for that. We arrived around 6pm after a long drive very tired and asked the lovely lady on reception if we could book a table in the restaurant. She had to check as it was national womans day and believed it maybe fully booked. She managed to get us a table for 8pm. We turned up in the restaurant and had a fantatstic night. There was music and dancing for the event and great food, great energy supplied all the locals. The breakfast was good with a fairly decent amount of choice. The manager and his wife worked tirelessly all night and were up again in the morning ready to go again at breakfast. A credit to the hotel!! Its in a great location too, with the church on the top with fantastic views on a clear day.

Communal areas could do with a little revamp, maybe some better furniture. Room smelt a little stale, needed airing. Bed a little hard. Sauna too pricey.

Nice clean n tidy room, nice food in restaurant, supper and breakfast, large croissants for a change.commanding views around the area. Good nights sleep.

Hard to find fault for the price but the pillows a little lumpy and would have like a tea making/small fridge in room. However excellent value for money.

The room had good view and It was good to have bathtub in the room. I enjoyed the swimming pool inside of the hotel. Breakfast was good, workers was friendly

Location is perfect on an hill with a superb view over a beautifull landscape, mountain Estrela... Breakfast: very good for a continental breakfast; fruit, cereals, different sorts of bread, croissants, cheese, ham, good hot drinks.

Better than expected for a 3 stars hotel and the price.

The indoor swimming pool can be a bit cold sometimes, I guess the weather didn't help either. But in general was great to avail of it.

Amazing views of the valley, beautiful infrastructure, bonus indoor swimming pool and a good restaurant. Spacious room and good private toilet. All great.
