The location is beautiful because it is just in front of flamingo lagoon and there is also parking lot where all the 4x4 tours to the desert pick up guests and start. At the same time it is a bit far from the town centre, around 30 min walk if you would like to approach some nice restaurants in town. Breakfast is good.

Overall facilities are old, but in general comfortable for short 1-2 days stay in the town if you plan the trip to the desert and don’t want to spend another extra 40 min travel to sandwich harbour from Swakopmund (which is much more alive town). Also please be mindful about scamp messages through booking com. We received about 50 messages one day with the ask to pay for stay in advance of arrival. Please be mindful and don’t pay. Staff of course apologised for that, as this was not their system messages.

I liked the location. the staff was absolutely wonderful. Liasias was an absolute staff. he assisted me with all my tours Lema, Natasha, Daniel. you guys are amazing. I forgot the other lady's name in the dining hall. with her around I did not miss home. she was my girl.

I just think that the upholstery and the carpet needs to be steam cleaned

We really enjoyed our stay here for the last 2 nights of our amazing holiday. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the bay. Great views of the flamingos. Lovely spacious room and friendly staff. We enjoyed our evening meal at the hotel on the first night and then walked to the Raft the following night. Great location for walks along the shore and close proximity for local experiences including kayaking with the seals. Highly recommend

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Nambia is not as plush as Cape Town, and the food though good and fresh does not have the style of SA. However, the staff are every bit as helpful and it is safer. The townships are offered as a tour rather than avoided at all cost. The hotel staff took us on a trip as we had limited time, and they could not have been nicer.

Not being a meat eater, the breakfast option was a bit limited. However, we ate well. The lack of tourist things to do and see is not the fault of the hotel, but they explained very clearly what there was.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to help. The room was very clean and maintained. The bathroom was excellent.

Not necessarily the hotel's fault, but overall I was not impressed with Walvis Bay itself. Very friendly people and tour operators but not much to do in immediate vicinity of the hotel and downtown reminded me more of an industrial town instead of a regular city.

I was planning to stay for a week for work which got extended and I landed up staying here for 3 weeks. Had a very comfortable stay. The staff was super friendly and always willing to help or assist guests. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Great location. If travels bring me back to Walvis Bay, I will definitely stay here again. Keep it up guys!!

Staff were super professional and friendly. Room was clean. Had a coffe machine but no coffee pods. Excellent view. Very comfy bed and super crisp clean bedding. We had dinner and breakfast in the on site reatuarant and is was superb. I dont often give a top rate but I am more than willing to give this establishment and it's staff a 10... and their cocktails are an 11...

The view was beautiful from the room 209 balcony. The staff were kind, friendly, polite and always had a smile.

The tea / coffee was not replenished daily. The muesli served at the breakfast was plain and when I asked for the waiter for dried fruit, the chef screamed at her saying its only for the rooms.

I loved the beautiful spacious room with everything I needed. The mattress was very comfortable and the linen white and crispy. The hotel has a restaurant where they serve a delicious breakfast and the staff are friendly and helpful.

There was nothing I did not like.

Exceptional staff, made the travel and experience so much more incredible. Miriam specifically went above and beyond to help me arrange day trips. The hotel location overlooks the ocean with incredible sunset views and flamingos galore. The decide was beautiful, cozy and tasteful. Beautiful setting and incredible kind and helpful staff - can’t beat this experience.
