The property was clean and neat.

However, I would probably never again book this hotel because there is no security guard at the premises hence our car mirrors way both stolen and our car got damaged when the thief cut the wires for the car mirrors. This damage is very costly to my family and I would have appreciated the staff making it a priority to warn us when come to parking next/opposite the hotel. My suggestion: 1. Hire a guard to watch over customers car in the hotel surrounding 2. Put up a note in front of the hotel in red to warn customers and to be vigilant at all times. Other than that incident and management failure with that regards, the hotel is beautiful and the breakfast was good.

The breakfast was decent, good variety and the setup was clean. The location of Swakopmund Plaza Hotel is honestly one of its best features. It’s right in the heart of town, which made it super easy to walk to most places like restaurants, shops, the beach, and popular attractions like the jetty were all just a few minutes away. I loved how convenient it was; I barely needed transport during my stay. Whether I wanted to grab a quick coffee or take a stroll to the ocean, everything was close by.

Breakfast had been the best I've had in my travels to Namibia, the chef's execute your orders to the T and the quality of the produce was amazing, the rooms are spacious, newly revamped for a modern feel all round great place.

Placement of the hotel in right in the city hub for beach vacations with surrounding tourist attractions, restaurants and the beach made travel and driving in the area very pleasant, I would recommend anyone who is looking for a great stay in Swakopmund to consider the Swakopmund Plaza Hotel, great value for money.

We really had a great time in this hotel, and we can recommend it to families and adults traveling on their own. The hotel is very central, clean, and we felt safe. There are many restaurants nearby and place to park the car right outside the hotel. Internet was very good too. The lady and guy at the reception were very friendly and had a good vibe. In essence, we are Portuguese family, that really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, and that would like others to have the same experience as we did. Have fun!

Breakfast was sufficient - solid variety of hot and cold options in western style. Rooms were very comfortable. Nothing extravagant, but has exactly what you need in a hotel room. Wifi was a bit iffy - I work virtually and the original room I was in did not have strong enough wifi to do WhatsApp or video calls. However, I raised this to the staff and they immediately moved me into another room that had wifi that was strong enough for video calls (and was an upgrade to more of a suite - so lovely of them). Aircon worked really well and consistently. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and polite. Hotel is walking distance (~5 mins) to the waterfront and ~10 minutes from very good restaurants, coffee shops, and souvenir shops. Great stay.

Swakopmund is a very well laid out town and walking around is easy. The Plaza is very conveniently situated for walking to all the places you might wish to visit. The staff at Reception were incredibly helpful and welcoming The breakfast was good, with the choice of an omelette or other being individually prepared for guests. I would have liked to have seen a selection of local fresh fruit available but this was not a fault peculiar to the Plaza but at every place we stayed throughout Namibia.

the selection of food was impressive with a variety of fresh fruits, baked and hot dishes. The staff was friendly and attentive making sure our needs were met.

I had a pleasant stay, but I think they could make some of the dishes, like sausages, readily available rather than having guests wait for them, which took a bit of time when there were a lot of guests.

its location is fair enough, you can walk to the beach, its in the middle of the town where you can access to shops. Its very quite where the Hotel is located

for a three star hotel nothing much to be added everything was on point. i think in the near future it will be nicer than it is today as i noticed they are doing revovation.

Staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean.

The hot water was a problem. The staff tells me they use solar geysers. Water never really gets hot enough and runs out very quickly. This would be a big consideration if I was to stay here again. Also the power tripped a few times during the night. The hotel needs to sort out its power issues

The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had an amazing view. It felt luxurious and very comfortable.

The experience was wonderful, but I found some of the extras like room service and parking a bit pricey for what was offered.
