A great value for money guest house in a quiet street but only 100 metres from the seafront and close to all eating and drinking facilities as well as the Metro station. Also had a very friendly welcome from Hardeep. Room was comfortable and clean, free on-street parking available (in my case if you time it right it can be literally less than 15 metres from the property.

Nothing to not like - it does what it says on the tin but be advised that no breakfast at the guest house these days - not a problem with so much choice in Whitley Bay.

We arrived Mon for a few days but on Tuesday my partner ended up in hospital for the rest of our stay. Hardeep and her daughter could not do enough for us they even took and picked us up from the hospital. Such a lovely family and a lovely guest house very clean and comfortable very close to the sea and shops. We will definitely come back and we would definitely recommend to people to stay here.

It's not the Ritz by any means, but the Aabba Guest House was perfect and affordable for my weekend trip to Whitley Bay. There was a very insignificant and tiny issue with check-in due to the time of my arrival, but they were willing to let me arrive fairly late and took the time to show me around upon arrival which I appreciated so much given the time of day. The "shared" toilet/shower was a complete non-issue since I was the only one using it. Yes it wasn't in the room, but honestly it didn't matter too much. I didn't have too high of expectations for this lodging upon booking, but it was simple yet perfect for my needs! Absolutely exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it!

The friendliness and happy personalities of the owners. Always offering help and assistance for example: we knew that breakfast and other meals were not on offer however the use of a beautiful modern and fully equipped kitchen is available to use all day also no parking on site. No problem, we were allocated a private parking spot just a couple of minutes away. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and we will certainly return if visiting the area in future. The property is situated very near the sea front where visitors can enjoy the walk along the promenade and to an award winning fish and chip shop. It is also very near the town centre with all it’s shops, restaurants, pubs etc.

The location was great. The host was great, very quick in corresponding and very helpful. The room was spotless. Bed huge and comfortable.

Everything was great. Just a light on top of mirror and slightly larger bathroom sink with mixer taps would have made it a clean 10. But this is very minor. I would always recommend this guest house and stay there again.

The hosts were amazing! They really went out of their way to accommodate a couple of requests that we had. Super friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean, looked great, and was well maintained. Fluffy towels and comfy bed, too! The location is superb! We enjoyed the close proximity to the sea, beautiful walking paths at the beach, and some great restaurants.

The bathroom is very tiny, but we knew that when we booked; it was exceptionally clean and functional, so the size wasn't a problem.

Friendly host , convenient location , comfortable room . Loved the size of the big tea mug . Plenty of soaps ,tissues toiletries , lovely large bath sheet . Very close to the sea .

Early morning daylight through the blinds , luckily I take an eye mask on my journeys, bed too soft for my back but others would like it . A hairdryer would be good but never asked for one . No key drop off point left me a little confused .

Hardeep, the proprietor, was friendly and helpful. She called me the day before my stay to ensure my room was ready for me on arrival. The room was very comfortable and spotless. Good location.

I really enjoyed the stay. There wasn't anything I didn't like. A breakfast option would be nice, though not a deal breaker. There are plenty of places to eat in Whitley Bay.

Lovely clean and bright room, great location, brilliant host, very kind and friendly, she really made me feel welcome and that nothing was trouble. Bed was very comfy, bathroom was spotless. Whole house was actually. Would definitely recommend and should I need it, I would stay again for sure. Great location, corner shop next door and very close to the sea, restaurants, shops etc.

The host was welcoming, friendly and really helpful. Great from the get go. When we were shown to our room is exceeded expectations, was a fantastic size, clean and warm - the beds were very comfy! We had our own shower room as requested with all the essentials and big fluffy towels. Overall, a dreamy place to stay! It was also a stone's throw from the station, beach and shops/restaurants making it the ideal location, while also being super quiet for a good nights sleep. Would stay here again!
