Good value pub/hotel 10 mins. walk from Hebburn metro. Shops 10 mins. away. Bus stops to Gateshead and Newcastle and South Shields just round corner from hotel. Good value Pub grub available from noon onwards.

Wi-Fi signal terrible. No breakfast available Mon-Fri, and only from 10am to noon on Sat/Sun.

Very limited options for hotel accommodation in the area when visiting family so location ideal. Excellent value at less than a hundred pounds for a Friday and Saturday night. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Beds very firm but that's personal preference, room very tired looking and poor shower pressure.

Food available till 9pm which was good and reasonably priced. Beds were comfy. Secure FREE parking. The price we paid was VERY CHEAP but the standards were well above average. Quite near the Metro station to travel around (abt 1 mile) and buses within 300 yards.

Our fault we booked on a Friday night when they were doing a Charity Karoake which was noisy. As this is a yearly thing we were unlucky. The Saturday was quiet and we got a good nights sleep

Great value, comfy bed and private access to the pub and rooms. Plenty of hot water and good heating. Quiet, which was surprising as the pub was very busy! Secure parking and good work area in the room.

The cleaner could do with running the hoover around.

The staff were excellent and I would like especially to thank the gentleman who turned off the radiator as it couldn't be turned off.. nothing was a bother for him

The radiator obviously as previously said could not be turned off by us in the room where bed was but it was rectified.

Value for money and location comfortable beds, easy to use shower coffee and tea making facilities All the benefits if a nice pub with live entertainment and surprisingly quiet rooms. Very friendly attentive staff

Loved it all. Absolutely sensational. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the place seemed overall like a very jolly pub. The snow added to it, in the room and outside ha ha ha. Great place

the venue was clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a late lunch and the food was exceptional and v.well presented. The longship is a Green King pub that provides accommodation and has ample parking. There is a separate entrance to the rooms so you are not limited to a time that you have to be back for. Considering the rooms are above a busy pub we could not hear any noise from the pub.

The room was very very hot and we had difficulty sleeping. Considering it was one of the hottest weekends of the year we thought we might have been offered a fan as there was no aircon in the room and the window only opened about 2 inches and not more. I was up and down all night taking cool showers to cool down. Another down side to this venue is the fact that it does not offer breakfast and the only time you can get a meal is when the pub is actually open for business.

The food was good and good value and there was plenty of parking spaces

It’s clean but could definitely do with a revamp , but I that cost money but that’s what let’s it down even if you paint the room a lot brighter would help

Second stay at the Longship, great place, staff very friendly and helpful, food great and excellent prices. Clean throughout and quiet room. Duvet soft.

Bed a little hard and uncomfortable and only one pillow but didn't ask the staff who may have provided an extra pillow if I'd raised it.
