Great price considering we were there to see Sam Fender at St James Park! City prices were treble.... and more! Comfy beds, lovely beer garden, reasonable prices. Very clean, lovely staff x Breakfast was ok, we have had better but we've also had much worse! £22 for 2 full breakfasts with extra toast, pot of tea which has possibly 4 cups, 1 pint of Coors & 2 iced waters. We are planning another trip to have a day in Jesmond & will absolutely book here. Regular buses right outside & £5 for the both of us into the city x We will see you again soon 🖤🤍🖤
Nothing to dislike x

The staff are very friendly, the room was a nice size, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Only £5 for a nice smaller cooked breakfast, which is good value. It ranks better than other places I've stayed in above pubs. Stayed there twice now and plan on staying there again in the future.
While you can't actually hear much from the bar (even on a busy match day), the walls are quite thin so you can hear your neighbours. Its located by a very busy road, which can be noisy until the quieter hours of the night, and not that easy to access by foot from the metro station (nearest is Jesmond) unless you're good at navigating or have lots of knowledge of the local area. Still found it twice despite my lack of sense of direction, and had a good nights sleep.

I didn't realise it was a pub and in the past pub hotel rooms have usually been pretty bad. Small, uncomfortable, noisy etc, so I arrived and started dreading it. There was a quiz night going on when I arrived but in my room I couldn't hear a thing. There was some road noise from the windows but it was still pretty quiet. The room was big and comfortable, the shower was fantastic, and the food was great.
Only a little thing but I had the breakfast and asked for it without beans and tomatoes. It'd be nice if they offered maybe an extra hash brown instead. Also, needs black pudding!

Downstairs is a large pub which was very busy with people watching the match on Sunday afternoon when I arrived so I was a bit worried, but the room was large, clean and peaceful. There was a little noise from the singer in the evening but that finished early and it was a quiet night. Lovely breakfast - not included in my chosen tariff but a good price for great food. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful, and locals were lovely and ready for a chat. On site parking for free was my initial draw to the place, and what a bonus.

Easy check-in, free parking, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely pub food and big screens to watch the Euro's or tennis. Room spotless and spacious, bathroom had bath and shower with toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities in the room, lovely big screen tv opposite the bed, beds comfy, area is right near shops, cafes and woodland. Would definitely stay there again. We requested a quiet room and did not hear a peep outside all night!
Nothing, all perfect for us.

Great room, good facilities. Checking in and out was easy and straightforward. Breakfast was nice. All of the staff were amazingly friendly and pleasant.
These are the two most minor complaints in the world, but we had to ask for teabags for our room, it only had coffee, the staff immediately resolved this for us though! And on the breakfast the portion of beans was tiny. These are honestly the only negatives I can think of, which should show how great a stay this was!

Travelling with a very tall friend, so booked the ample family room, giving them the double bed to themselves!. Seems a popular bar, too. Festively decorated. Given all the info we needed and not expected to pre-order or pre-book a reservation for breakfast. Alternative breakfast options, individually priced ~ a couple less than £9.99. Ample parking. Comfy beds, USB charging points in with socket by beds ~ love that. Great shower. We didn't eat dinner there, as meeting friends in a restaurant, but menu/food looked good. Hotel lies immediately off Coast Road exit, so don't miss the turning almost as soon as you turn onto Heaton Rd!
The hotel caters for functions as well and it was busy when we arrived, so we had to wait a while before anyone came to check us in, although they did apologise. There were a lot of people toing and froing in the rooms area, which made it noisy. Not a quiet night's sleep, with people talking and a TV playing into the latter early hours. Large bathroom that could have done with some heating (the room itself was toasty though). Guy didn't write our breakfast order down and got my juice wrong, although he replaced it.

The Staff were Excellent, they could not do enough to make my stay as good as possible. They were charming and very helpful. They made me feel at home... I had a meal in the Bar.... It was a very nice Burger, above what I expected. The room was good, A little small but fine for one night.
It was a little Noisy, and warm, but about what I expected.
