We had a fab 2 night stay at Jared’s place - his communication ahead of us checking in was great! The apartment was a bit small for 5 people (better for up to 4) but fine for a couple of nights. The beds were super comfy and Jared kindly left us bottles of water and some snacks too :) The location is great as well, nice area with a few shops and pubs close by and you can easily get into the city centre as well. I would definitely stay again!

A couple of tiny things - the bathroom could do with a deep clean, it wasn’t dirty but I did notice some dust in the corners under the sink for example. We could have done with a bigger fridge for food and drinks as there was 5 of us staying, but appreciate this would be tricky as the kitchen is quite small! Overall though we had a really good stay

It was a very modern and spacious apartment with great amenities. The property was exceptionally decorated and every little detail was thought of (board games, snacks, essential food items - tea, sugar, milk sachets). Jared, the owner, was fantastic and went out of his way to accommodate us. The apartment was a short distance away (10 minute walk or 5 minute drive) from the city center.

The only thing that proved to be an inconvenience was the smoke alarm being too close to the oven. When we cooked, any smoke from the oven or toaster set off the alarm. However, I shared this with Jared and he was going to rectify this for future guests.

We were a group of mums with our tweens and they really enjoyed the open planned space and ability to enjoy their down time together. The property was clean and tidy and had lots of little things to make our stay comfortable and easy.

We stayed in the top apartment and sadly I’m a light sleeper so found the creaking floor a little annoying when others would get up in the night.

Good location, it was 20 min walk from exibition park which we had concert booked. Also only 20 min walk to city centre. Good communication from the owner with info re check in. All the facilities you would require also some sweets and snacks provided.

Mattress was a bit hard for myself, but my husband liked it, so it was personal choice.

The apartment was clean and had comfortable sofas and beds. The kitchen was well equipped. There was a TV in lounge and both bedrooms. It was well decorated and had a nice colour scheme. It was easy to access the apartment. It was not far from Jesmond metro station which made it easier for us to get around as we travelled by train. There were lovely complementary biscuits and chocolates and plenty of tea and coffee. A first aid kit in the bathroom.

We could not get induction hob to work which restricted what we could cook . The oven and microwave and all other kitchen equipment was fine The kitchen sloping window was difficult to close

Excellent location, well equipped and excellent customer service by the property owner. It was clean, perfect size for 4 girls to use to get ready for a night out and then come back to somewhere comfy to sleep. Beds and pillows were great, which you don’t always get in other places at this price point! Jared couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating, really wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and had a lovely stay.

Nothing at all.

Really nice flat on the top floor. Great value for money. Had everything we needed including a parking space. Excellent location with just a 20 minute walk to the Quayside or city centre and 10 minute walk to the university. The host Jared contacted us to make sure everything was ok.

I really cannot think of anything we didn’t like.

One silly little point, the tap in the bathroom is plumbed in incorrectly H is cold C is hot. This didn’t bother me but could be dangerous for a child or someone not paying attention. The hot water is hot.

The location was perfect for my needs as my daughter was moving in just around the corner. Was great to have off road parking.

It would have been great if the heating had been on for a while before we arrived as it was quite cold in the apartment and it took a while to heat up with the oil heaters. However, there were blankets we could use and our host was quick to direct us to additional heaters.

Really well equipped, had absolutely everything you could need for a short trip. Jared was a brilliant host and communication was excellent.

The mattress in the second bedroom needs to be replaced or a mattress topper put on top as I could feel the springs and it was really uncomfortable. The walls are paper thin and the front door was constantly being slammed, so it was pretty noisy.
