Property clean,staff pleasant and well situated

Check the distributor a soap in the shower as the pump did not work

The location of the property was near to the bus stops and also only a short walk to the Metro. The bed was very comfortable. We were there during a hot spell and we had the windows open all the time which worked most of the time. You can ask for dressing gowns and slippers which we did. The bathroom was a lovely size with lots of shelf space. Staff generally very pleasant and helpful. Adequate off-road parking for the hotel and a comfort to know there was CCTV used. There was plenty of choice for breakfast too although if you went later the fried eggs were a little dry.

Room was adjacent to two fire doors - both open normally as they are the type to close automatically in the event of a fire. On the final night one of the doors was closed and therefore every time anyone went through it banged shut and kept waking us up. Advised the staff on check out to avoid issues with the next guests but the receptionist didn't seem interested. There was a limited number of staff with them having to take on multiple roles and therefore sometimes you had a wait.

Executive room was very good. 2 TV's was a bonus. Shower also very good. Lively in the bar in the evening.

the room had a comfy big bed, it was spacious, quiet at night even though the hotel is on a main road. Fluffy robe was a nice touch if getting those room type. Breakfast had a good choice although I didn't try the hot buffet.

The shower wasn't working in the room, wasn't sure if it was meant to for this room type as there was a bath but then why have a shower there? the lift was out of order but that didn't bother me at the time as I was only on the first floor. The corridors are a little shabby looking with stained carpets etc making you question what you are letting yourself in for but you get to your room and it is a welcome surprise.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s quite close to the Metro only a 6 minute walk we timed it. We stayed in a superior family room and it was a really good size.

The breakfast wasn’t well organised. The hotel was busy but they kept running out of food quickly and we had to wait a long time they didn’t keep up with the requirements. They should have kept it flowing better because the variety and quality of food is really good. The only other thing I didn’t like was that the waitress was walking around the tables pouring tea and coffee, I prefer getting my own pot I don’t like putting my hand up asking and waiting for it.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. Location is close to West Jesmond metro station and so handy for the city. Some nice restaurants on Osborne Rd. Bed was comfortable and the room was warm.

Buffet breakfast was ok, though the fried eggs were a bit rubbery from being kept warm. Lift wasn't working and 2 floors was a lot to carry our luggage. No offer was made to help carry the luggage though I suspect if we had asked we would have had assistance. Bathroom bin hadn't been emptied but we only noticed this on the morning we were leaving. No usb sockets or plugs near the beds.

The hotel is a bit far from center , in a very nice neighborhood. It’s about 30 mins enjoyable walk to city center. Room was very clean as well as bed sheets, blankets and pillows. The bed was very comfy. Big and clean bathroom, hot water with good pressure available. lighting and wifi were very good. The hot breakfast was lovely! It had a lot of choices including fruit, eggs, meat, cakes, …, etc, served in a very nice and comfortable area. Hotel staff very kind and helpful particularly Anita and her team at breakfast. Very friendly and tried to make sure everything is alright for the guests. I had a comfortable stay, real value for money and I highly recommend the hotel.

Single night before walking Hadrians wall. Good location only 15 minutes by metro to Wallsend . Very professional and friendly staff . Lovely room . Breakfast was exceptional, great service and choice of breakfasts.

Only one minor complaint is if you don’t Close your door fully which is easy to do a piercing annoying alarm goes off. Good for security but a notice should be on the door. A neighbouring room set the alarm off at 6am Which was annoying

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Decent size rooms and bathroom. Free parking. Nice and warm.

We’ve stayed twice now. The second time the bathroom was quite tired. The shower screen wasn’t sealed properly and the water has leaked causing the bath panel to rot. Breakfast was nice but we had to wait a while for the eggs, then the hash browns had run out. We had to ask for more fruit and yogurt to be put out. We were finally asked if we would like a hot drink when we had finished our breakfast. The staff are very friendly but seemed to be rushed off their feet.

The room was comfortable and clean. Nice powerful shower.

In the room, a choice of herbal teas would have been nice, instead of only breakfast tea. Breakfast was ok but, as someone who doesn't eat fried breakfast, I was a little disappointed that the Deliciously Ella granola and porridge which were on the printed menu were not available. The coffee / tea were sub standard and brought round in thermos jugs by staff, but not very often so hard to get a top up. It would be better to have self service, plus choice of herbal teas.
