Location, size and value for money.

Limited parking. Check in was 3pm but carpark full by then. Apartment heating appeared to be on a timer that we could not override. It was very cold at times, especially the bedrooms.

The location of the apartment was excellent: right opposite the metro station and only a few minutes from the city centre. Access to the apartment was by key code and worked smoothly. The cleanliness was excellent and the bins were emptied every day. I would rate the property as excellent in all respects except for my comments below regarding kitchen equipment, which was extremely lacking.

The advertisement stated that there was a fully equipped kitchen. Whilst the kitchen had lovely appliances, there was virtually no equipment to enable us to cook at the apartment. There was only one A5 size baking tray for example. How are you supposed to cook for 4 people on that?? There was nothing else that could go in the oven! We ended up having to buy a baking dish and some serving dishes, just to be able to use the oven and make some basic meals. We also bought a cafetiere to make filter coffee. I also expected that nowadays there would be a means of making good quality coffee at the apartment. There was a dishwasher, which was totally unnecessary, as there were barely any dishes provided to wash!

Great location, very near Jesmond metro and with bus stop right outside. Reasonably sized rooms with comfortable beds. Bath plus separate shower cubicle. Appliances easy to use. Quiet - almost no noise from other guests, and no traffic noise in bedrooms. We had a lower ground floor room with access to a small courtyard: great on sunny mornings. Good blackout curtains. Kitchen bin was emptied each day. We'd be happy to stay here again.

Being aged, we found the sofa and armchair rather too low and deep - needed cushions/pillows for back support. Only one chair between two bedrooms, which we had to carry into the lounge to stand on in order to reach the windows (no other chair/stool was safe for this; windowsills high and deep). One very small oven tray - OK for us two, but wouldn't have been OK for bigger meals.

We liked the space, the tree outlook at the front, the cleanliness of the apartment. It was quiet at night even although the metro ran close by and the road outside was relatively busy. The bright and airy rooms. The comfortable ultra clean beds and ample pillows. The kitchen area had good facilities for storing foodstuffs. We didn't want for anything in that area for a short stay. We liked the fact we could open windows and have fresh air around the apartment ( in very hot weather. Location was excellent for our purposes and so close to the Metro station just around the corner. Best way to move around the city plus a bit of walking. The Biscuit Factory was a highlight just down the road a bit from the apartment building with a wide range of contemporary art on show and an excellent cafe area with a garden roof terrace. Jesmond is a lovely area to wander around as well with a small shopping area a little further away in a very safe local environment. We liked the fact that digs were welcome even although we didn't have a dog with us. Other family members do and we'd certainly recommend it to them.

A bit of marking on some walls in the living room kitchen area due to normal use could do with a repaint to smarten it up. The shower needed a bit of working out to find the best position for hot water but was fine once we got the gist of it. Pots in the kitchen were aluminium and needed careful use on the gas hob on a low heat. But were fine for us.

The place is in a comfy location. The Jesmond metro station is just around the corner, a few minute walk to all Osborne Road bars, a few more to Jesmond Dene. Our apartment was big and comfy. Two sizable bedrooms and bathrooms plus a day area/lounge room with kitchen annex. One gets a code to open the doors. Own parking lot, if needed. Well-equipped in a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, let alone iron, kettle or hair dryer. Perfect for a few day stay.

Given the proclaimed 4-star standard, there is a need for improving some bits and bobs. No tablets for the dishwasher. Would you really expect your guests to bring them over or buy a full box? Salt and pepper shakers tick the above, that would be a nice touch. I would also consider offering a sponge cloth or a kitchen towel to keep the place tidy. The TV refused cooperation, all the channels were scrambled. A welcome bottle of water is a must! Hardly costly but these things leave a good impression. Last not but not least - the gas cooker did not have an igniter, yet no lighter or matches were provided.

apartment spacious, clean, well lit, warm, well decorated and well laid out. Only 2 people stayed but plenty of room for a 3rd or even a 4th person. Owner was leaving at the same time as me as they were staying there too. Introduced themselves to me. Very approachable and a small issue I raised was offered a solution without hesitation. Owner also showed exceptional kindness when they sorted a problem that I had created without any hesitation. Would highly recommend this property. £8 for an uber into the city centre.

Nothing. Couldn't fault the property

By car or by public transport the property is easy to find, close to a metro station, literally across the street. Also easy to get there by car being quite close to the city centre and all the amenities. Parking at the front of the property, also on street parking available or some private ones quite close down the road. Can be quite challenging during busy times and the one in front is not guaranteed. The communication with the guys that manages the property is a bit tricky, I had the luck to find someone at the property when we arrived and get the access sorted for us otherwise you have to jump on the phone and sort it by yourself. Don't get me wrong, they've sent me a lot of messages with a lot of stuff, however the most useful one with the access codes it came after we've got there. The access is by code, no key or anything physical so be careful, do not delete the messages or the emails as you won't be able to access the building or the room. The building has 2 levels, no elevator, so if you get the apartment at the 2nd level you have to use the stairs. Old style building with large windows and wider access to the hallway or stairs, looks nice and gives a sense of luxury, however this is where the luxury ends. The rooms are spacious but everything in the apartment is basic, a bed and some furniture that probably saw better days 25 years ago. One of the strongest points was that the apartment was clean and it had two bathrooms. No offence to the guys that manage the property as I understand that keeping such a building in a proper condition can be challenging but that apartment was far from being Deluxe! I mean it had 2 bathrooms, one ensuite, the other one right next to the master bedroom and the rooms were spacious but everything else was quite worn. The beds and the pillows were comfy enough to have a good sleep. The window in the living room was hauling as it was a windy day, tried to open it and closed it again with no success.

The overall quality of the furniture, as it was a Deluxe room I was expecting a bit more of a quality, attention to details.

Location to o2 theatre was great just a 10 min walk.

Kitchen facilities great everything you need fridge freezer microwave toaster microwave dishwasher and cooker all great condition but equipment has to be the most basic we've experienced in apartments, literally 4 plates bowls mugs 2 glasses and basic set of saucepans but no chopping boards, serving dishes or anything if you wanted to actually cook. Also both bedrooms were very exposed (ground floor) beautiful large windows but no screening they could do with privacy coating as had to draw curtains just to get changed same in both rooms

Spacious 2 bedroom apartment. good location (1 minute walk to Jesmond Metro; bus stop outside), all clean, easy check-in, quiet despite location near main roads, warm with good central heating in March, useful additions such as washing machine with a drying rack / iron / ironing board, shower gels provided, good standard of towels and bedding, very clean fridge / microwave / even a full oven, excellent clean bathroom with very good shower pressure and shower. I felt very safe and comfortable throughout my stay. Very good value for money compared to staying at a city hotel.

For the 'luxury' apartment I would have expected a coffee machine. The kitchen equipment was limited for example 4 plates, 4 bowls, and a simple french press / cafetiere or a filter coffee machine would be good for a self-catering breakfast, I didn't expect a Nespresso. The kitchen was neat and clean but the breakfast bar only seated 2 people. There was no dining table to seat 4. The lounge area doesn't have a dining table or desk area, I could work on the sofa but would like some kind of desk in a corner, ideally. It feels like some areas have been 'done up' recently and others are being done - for example the bathroom was fabulous but the lounge furniture lacked a desk or table.

easy to use key codes for the door, lots of space the apartment is huge! Loads of spaces for everything and some tome to unwind. kitchen area a great asset although could have done with some oven gloves, dishwasher tablet and dishcloth. that's only because I cooked at the apartment. Kitchen has everything you need to a stay with a huge fridge and freezer.

The beds were a little uncomfortable but maybe I am just used to my memory foam topper. I felt like I could hear and feel every spring when I moved in the bed. The TV not that we watched much, is also very small for the size of the room!
