Quinn and the bar staff impeccable, checking in and out with the girls 10/10, the staff are a real credit to the place

The manager.. having stayed a few times now, he talked down to staff, belittling In front of us all to see, very poor management skills, when actually didn’t really seem to know much himself, Also wasn’t helpful on my previous stay, but left it, but was rude and obnoxious to me and worse my wife and little boy, Better just to deal with the great staff and perfect location, If you wish to follow up more than welcome to give more detail

Breakfast was good, room was spacious and clean (apart from one sticky patch on the floor near the window). They had a little cabinet where you could buy toiletries etc that you'd forgotten which was useful. Really close to the centre/river. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Having to pay for parking at a hotel you've paid to stay at is a rip off in my opinion. We were also asked to leave the breakfast area once we'd finished eating. We were sat drinking our coffees and having a chat and it wasn't busy at all and still had 20 minutes left before breakfast finished. They obviously wanted to get a head start on cleaning up but it felt rude

The location was very good. The staff were warm. The rooms had most of the things that any traveller would need, except a refrigerator. Internet was very stable. The restaurant staff were the hero, ensuring a steady supply of good breakfast, everyday! I really like my experience!

I would think that this is minor. My room was not cleaned on one day, when I put a MAKE MY ROOM sign on the door, and the housekeeper was on the corridor, right next to my room when I was heading to town. Was in town for 9 hours and met my room the same way I left it! I would clearly think that this was an error of omission, putting all factors of my 7-night stay together, so no ill feelings. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Knew location when hotel was a Jurys Inn, so that was good, was generally quiet & a short work to the City centre. All staff were welcoming, friendly, approachable & informative. Room was clean & cleaned during our 3 night stay, we thought bed in room was large & very comfortable. We normally book apartments when staying in Newcastle & other places, but we'd stay at Leonardo again 👌 Although we didnt have breakfast during our stay, it did look really good & observed other guests enjoying it. And alittle thank you to Leonardo for complimentry coffee vouchers we were given for dining area, was a nice touch, we also forgot a 10% discount on food & beverages, we didnt use. Quite a nice view of Quayside from our room too.

Did notice little marks on furnishings, on some curtains & on ceiling near 1 window, there was chipped paint/damage. Didnt hamper our stay in anyway, but makes you alittle insecure if theres any thought that anyone thinks that was you? And tv signal for afew channels was poor, Im not sure if free wifi was available? But again, overall, none of these things deterred from a lovely stay.

The 2 ladies on reception when we arrived were absolutely brilliant. Really welcoming and professional and very helpful.

Our biggest disappointment was that there were no privacy curtains. The window looked out to an office block across the road and they could see directly into our room. This meant that on a warm and sunny day, I had to have the curtains closed when getting ready. This meant the room was very dark - no large over light - and not really practical. I couldn't even relax on the bed without closing the curtains at all times.

Great location, easy to reach by car and great car park (if you are early enough). Only a few mins to walk to the Gateshead side of the Millennium Bridge. Safe area. Nice view from the spacious room. Very clean bedding.

Shame you can’t book parking. We were staying 3 nights and arrived on Friday at 5:30pm- car park was full. We were able to unload easily and were given directions to an alternative car park by the friendly staff (a few mins walk away). No trouble parking the car the following morning. Rooms were a little dated, but excellent value and very comfortable.

We had a room on the 3rd floor, overlooking the Tyne which was scenic and particulary so in the early morning light. Our room was comfortable as was the bed. A bath and shower was a welcome treat after a long journey. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was acceptable.

The bedroom windows would benefit from a net curtain to afford privacy and light rather than curtains alone. The curtain rail did not fully reach the right side and so light was obvious from there. Breakfast was acceptable but the plates were cold and the "hot" food from the buffet service was only tepid under the lights. Slightly disappointing.

The location of the Leonardo is excellent with a short walk to good restaurants and the city. The night views of the bridges were great. The room was spacious and comfortable with a high level of cleanliness. On site facilities are good, there is a pleasant seating area with river views.

It was very slow checking in, the staff were very good and patient but overstretched. The breakfast was somewhat chaotic with items frequently running out, there seemed to be too few staff and the young man we saw was very busy. The bar area is not inspiring with very basic tables and chairs and only one sofa area.

Staff were efficient and happy to help. Room temperature was perfect, had everything I could want in the room and the bed was fresh and very comfy. Loved having a bath too, which ran hot and fast! Breakfast spread was fantastic, potatoes, mushrooms, watermelon, crumpets, nice fruity toppings. Nice view of the river.

The room looked super clean, but I did end up with a mystery hair and some mystery gunk on myself I couldn't attribute to anywhere else. I got the key card stuck in the door of my first room. I had to ask someone to go out of their way for oat milk even at breakfast time and there was no vegan labeling. Adding an alternative milk and veggie sausages to the breakfast spread just seems like an obvious easy thing to do to be more accommodating, I already felt awkward asking for the milk so I just guessed at what else I could eat.

The downstairs areas was nice - I would say better than the bedroom. Towel holder came off the wall when I went to dry my hands. All was OK. TV signal was spluttering a bit.

Location - but not where I thought it was and there are two Leonardos - I went to the wrong one parked up and it was a right faf in Newcastle traffic coming to the correct one which had no parking spaces and the parking was ok for me but if you had trouble walking far from ideal. Bit as close to town as I would have liked but for the money I would say it was good value - and I thought the breakfast was pretty good.
