A lovely room, it was clean and bed comfy - had everything we needed. Breakfast had a good choice of tasty food, bar food also good. The staff were super friendly and lovely people, nothing is too much trouble.

Noise from local club was awful Sat and Sun I bought earplugs which helped a bit, but still didn't cut all sound . Sadly, the excessive noise would put me off staying here again.

Location is great, especially when you want to visit places outside of Newcastle like Durham or York (a few minutes from central station). The staff is very supportive and the breakfests were very good.

The double rooms are quite small.

Hotel was in great location. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Some rooms got noise from bar next door

We've just returned from 2 nights staying here and were very impressed with just about everything; On arrival we were greeted by Julie & Lauren on reception, who couldn't do enough for us. They gave us advice on where to go and what to do during our stay, and each time we passed reception they were always happy to chat. The room was clean, modern and well equipped: Powerful shower with plenty of hot water, Tea & coffee making facilities, hair dryer, big comfortable bed. Breakfast is £8.95 and it's well worth it; There was something to suit everyone and it's buffet style so you can eat as much as you want. All really good quality grub and proper coffee. The location is great - There's a long stay car park at the station 5 minutes walk away, and the whole city is on your doorstep. We'd never been to Newcastle before so didn't know what to expect, but it's a lovely place, with so much history, brilliant architecture, and the River Tyne running through the centre. There are also pubs, bars, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. On top of all that, we had great weather for the whole of our stay!

My only concern is that the windows don't open. I always like to sleep with a bit of fresh air coming in, but it's not a massive issue and is very common these days.

We had a great stay at Sleeperz in a fantastic location. It's easy walking distance to the station, Earl Grey's monument and most of the city of Newcastle. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The cleaning was excellent and we had the in-room tea and milk replenished every day. The staff at reception were happy to hold our bags on the day of checkout, which was really helpful since we had a lot and didn't leave until 16.00. The price was very reasonable considering the overall experience. We had a great stay and would definitely make Sleeperz our first choice next time in Newcastle.

The inside of the AC/heating unit should be cleaned better, but this is a very minor issue considering the price.

Nice hotel 5 minutes walk from the central station. Small and comfortable rooms for travelers who need to stay in a strategic location. There is a kettle, tea, coffee in the room. The TV works well, the air conditioner is efficient enough. Wi fi worked perfectly. There is shampoo and soap in the shower. You can eat at the hotel both in the morning and at lunch. The hotel is a bit noisy, so I recommend using earplugs. I enjoyed my stay.

It was a very nice hotel, clean and a lovely room.Staff were very nice, Ruben who was in the restaurant at breakfast was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Shower in room wasn't great, quite small for a wet room. There was some sort of bar next door with very loud music so take ear plugs, went on until the early hours.

Had a nightmare with one of staff. I called to advise I was delayed and ask if my partner could check in and was told this was fine after giving his name. Shortly after I received a call demanding my bank details for him to check in, even when advising I was driving and couldn’t give this she demanded them further before advising if I didn’t give them he couldn’t check in. I advised I wasn’t asked for these before otherwise I would have given but as driving I couldn’t give so fine don’t let him check in before someone else went over and let him check in without these details and just asked for me to give them when I arrived. This I did and all was fine, not sure why the older woman was so rude about it in the first place

Great location, view of the bridge and castle from floor to ceiling windows Comfy bed. Air con. Quiet room. Friendly staff. We arrived 5 hours before checking so we could leave our luggage due to travelling by train which was a great help.. 5 minute walk to the station.

No iron. Couldn't get hot water. Rang reception. Due to the location of the room being far from the boiler, I would have to put on the hot tap and shower for about 10 min to get the hot water through. I said this was not environmentally friendly and a waste of water. was informed it was to be looked at as they were aware of the issue. Bathroom small

Fantastic location, right in the centre of the city, a stone's throw from the rail/Metro station, and a 15 min walk to the bus station. Room was spacious, very clean, and relatively quiet all things considered; comfy bed; lots of storage/hanging space (for a single person); roomy and very clean bathroom, great shower water pressure, with shampoo and hand wash dispensers, and plenty of towels. A TV, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer, and keypad combination safe are included in the room. Simple to use air con/heating system with good instructions. Complimentary breakfast was rather decent, with lots of fresh, cold, and hot options, e.g. fruit, cereal, yoghurt, pastries, white and brown bread (with toasters), scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, hash brown bites, coffee/tea and juices, etc. Very friendly staff. Extremely happy with the price I paid for all the above.

The only downsides were the TV remote was not responsive (likely needed batteries replacing), so had to use the controls on the TV itself. I could also still hear trains from the nearby rail station, but this personally wasn't a massive issue for me and didn't disrupt my sleep, so more of a note/FYI rather than a negative.
