I was a bit worried on arrival as it looked a little untidy in the garden but I needn’t have been worried as the apartment was super clean with everything you needed in the kitchenette. The bed was comfortable. As previous reviewers have said, the shower was hot but with a little bit of hard turning of the bottom knob (anybody frail wouldn’t be able to do this as it took some force). Maybe the cleaners could be advised to leave it in this position rather than getting endless reviews about the shower being too hot. Honestly, just turn the knob! We had room 4 with a lovely little sea view. Lots of good places to eat and the microwave and fridge came in handy for takeaways etc. I would definitely stay here again. Very good value for money.

Driveway could be tidied up a bit. That’s all I can say really as it was good accommodation.

It's not so much we didn't like was a little disappointed we didn't have an oven to cook the 4 pizzas we'd bought at the shop on our 200 mile trip to the apartment,the pictures weren't very clear if there was or not. The shower is lovely got really food pressure but very hot and all 4 of us tried to turn the heat down. But is good you have plenty of hot water with really good reassure just a little too hot. None of these I will say will not put us off coming next year.. Thankyou for a nice place to sleep

A large bedroom with en-suite. Very nicely decorated and spotless clean. Good location just minutes from the sea front and town centre but quiet street during the night.

We stayed for a week so we could have done with a chest of drawers for clothes. There was enough hanging space for clothes. A small dining table with 2 chairs would have been nice so you can sit at a table to eat. The mattress was a bit lumpy. Good for a short stay but for a longer stay we felt it needed the above extras.

Excellent location for both the independent shops and bars/ restaurants and beach , we were not expecting so many. Parking space made this really helpful. We had never been to Whitely Bay before and were really impressed. We saw over 50 seals on the rocks by the lighthouse, visited all the beaches and popped to Tynemouth. We could not believe how quiet the room was. The room was exceptional with everything we needed and lots of space. The local coffee in the room was a really nice touch. The shower was very good and beds really comfy. Very easy to get into the room with detailed instructions.

The room was clean and spacious. The free parking right next to the property was a big plus. We had a small issue with the shower, but the staff were very responsive—they replied quickly via Booking.com and sorted it out in no time. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the beach.

The soundproofing wasn’t great. We could hear the guests above us walking, talking, watching TV, and especially running. They weren’t particularly loud—just toddlers running around—but it felt like a mini earthquake at times. It made falling asleep a bit tricky, though luckily, it didn’t last too long.

Locations close to beach, room secure and comfortable, easy communication with company. Clean room and bathroom. Great to have the kettle and tea. Asking equipment but miss corkscrew. Bed comfortable. Tv entertainment excellent.

Check in time is too late at 4.00pm should not be later than 2.00pm like most other places. This reduces time to freshen up and honestly the amount charged is disproportionate for time used. Lock box great idea but most other places don’t require the key to be put back suggest separate marked keys for each room. No coffee ie black. Outside needs to be spruced up. Cold water in shower not working well so shower too hot.

Communication with the hotel was prompt and effective, and we found check-in to be straightforward. Upon arrival, we noticed two guests outside who seemed unable to access the property; however, the reason for this remains unclear. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and well-equipped for our three-night stay. While we didn't cook, the kitchen was adequately furnished. The shower and bathroom were good and the beds were comfortable.

Upon arrival, the exterior appeared slightly neglected with litter scattered about, suggesting a need for minor maintenance. However, the hotel itself was well-maintained, and the windows were clean. The neighboring property was in a more disheveled state, with debris cluttering the garden, likely due to ongoing renovations. Unfortunately, the most significant issue was the noise from guests and the building's plumbing. Located on the middle floor, we were disturbed by noise from above and below, including doors slamming and toilets flushing. While we believe guests were not intentionally loud, the soil pipe from an upstairs toilet seemed to run along the interior wall of our room, causing enough noise to wake us during the night.

Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean en suite boutique bedroom, which was a good size. Walking distance (a few steps) for the seaside down the road, or for the shops in the other direction. Really appreciated having the little kitchen with a sink, kettle, fridge and microwave, and with enough cutlery and crockery also provided, for two people. When contacting guests by email and via booking.com, messages are warm and concise, with clear instructions for access. Free parking on site.

There is a flashing alarm on the ceiling, a necessary safety device. Just remember to pack an eye mask if that would disturb you when you're trying to sleep :D

Self accommodation and it was what you would expect for approx. £90 a night. Room just big enough for two for a couple for two nights. Near the beach.

Communication between the owner was not good. Arrived on the first evening only to find there was no TV. I messaged them about there being an issue with the batteries in the remote but the response was that they check the batteries and the remote regularly. We heard the cleaners arrive and at 11 am next day and asked whether they had other batteries. Sure enough, that was the issue. So for a whole day we had no tv. Got a message from them later saying they did mention it to the cleaners but we had to ask them! It’s very annoying when you arrive somewhere and there is no one who immediately sorts out a problem with the room. Only a microwave so nowhere to boil an egg say or cook a bit of food.

The room was clean and well equipped including cleaning products. Nice big bath towels. The bed was a good size and comfortable. The property was close to the beach with a sea view from our room (top floor) and decent bars and restaurants within walking distance. We had breakfast on the beach at Riley’s Fish Shack in Tynemouth and an evening meal at Turknaz (Turkish cuisine, cash only) and both were excellent. Plenty to do in the area.

The patio area could do with a tidy up to clear weeds and rubbish. The shower fittings were a bit temperamental, difficulty turning the temperature down.
