This is my second stay at the hotel, and once again, I had a wonderful experience. After such a great stay last month, I chose to return, and I’m glad I did. The location is perfect—close to everything you need, with an excellent beach just a short walk away. The staff are exceptional—always friendly, attentive, and eager to help, which truly makes a difference.

I was disappointed with a couple of things during my stay. The cups and tea tray in the room had dirty marks, which was off-putting. Additionally, I had the steak in the restaurant, but it had an unusual taste—almost like fish or something off. While I wasn’t charged for the meal, it was still a disappointing experience overall.

Perfect location. Wonderful staff: the girl at the bar made us feel very welcoming, thank you so much (we returned the bottle opened at the checkout!!) - the housekeepers - the maintenance so helpful ,and the gentleman at the Receptionist at the checking! Breakfast was fabulous, same for the the lovely girl that helped us and the chef! Wonderful bed, spacious room, bathroom and parking facilities! We always travel light so we didn't miss the lift at all, however the gentleman at the checking helped us out! My daughter didn't want to leave! I agreed!

The only thing I could say is that the girl at Reception could have go the extra step: I called on Sunday at 8 am asking for room service. She said that I would have needed to go downstairs at the restaurant myself etc... When I went downstairs, it was incredibly quiet and she didn't look busy...as I traveled with a child, I would have appreciated a bit of proactively on that regard.

Lovely room with view looking on to Fun Park, the sand dunes & beach (Vera Country) all staff were superb , very friendly Breakfast was excellent

Sadly the room (113) was not 100% clean , old towel left hanging at the back of bathroom door, a med size hair on one pillow we didn't make a complaint , we accept it was an oversight , cleaners under pressure to meet a set time frame ! We are in hospitality ourselves , so while we booked a clean twin room as standard , yes slightly disappointed but we don't believe in making waves , to err is human !

I wasn’t expecting much more than the basics for the price I paid but the hotel is lovely, the rooms are well equipped and nicely styled. Staff were all lovely, I had a drink in the bar which is quite bright- lighting could maybe be looked at, but the staff everywhere were excellent. I will also add that I had breakfast this morning and the waitress was great and the full English breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. The chef deserves a special mention.

Just the lighting in the bar is very strip light bright. Not very atmospheric

Where do I start. Number 1 is the staff. I have stayed in many hotels over the years and of all grades and I could count on one hand places that had such friendly helpful staff as here. Number 2 The breakfast was outstanding with a good choice and arrived at your table hot and fresh. Number 3 The location. Fall out of bed and you are on the beach and if you have children you are close to parks, a skate park, basket ball and football pitches. Walk for 10 minutes in the other direction and you are in town. on route to town the are countless restaurants for evening dining. We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely stay there again.

Not Much!

Lovely sized room with a very comfortable bed. The layout was well thought through. We enjoyed having a tea & coffee in bed, watching the sun rise over the sea/ amusements while watching the news on a morning. Perfect location for bars, restaurants, activities ect. Staff were really approachable and helpful.

The room temperature was extremely warm. We turned off the radiator in the room and kept the windows open all day and night, baring in mind this is November and we both woke up sweating with heat every morning. Very strange.

The management and staff were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Even after a mixup, they made sure that our stay was perfect. We stayed in this hotel last year and you can see that they are trying to upgrade the rooms, which is really positive. We're looking forward to going back and seeing the next step of the improvements as the rooms are now lovely, just need the bathroom updating. Not through any faults, just purely cosmetic. The rest of the hotel is beautiful. The food was excellent, we had booked breakfast and had an evening meal as well, it was all delicious and served by friendly and professional staff. We would definitely stay again.

It's hard to criticise when you know the hotel is already making improvements. The hotel is beautiful in all areas except the bathroom in the room. It is perfectly functional and clean, just needs updating to keep in line with the improvements they have already done to the actual room. This would in no way stop us from returning as it is a very small critiscm.

Firstly , all of the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious with a sea view and the bed was comfortable . There was a good choice for breakfast and everything was cooked nicely , the lady who worked in the dining room and served breakfast was lovely and chatty , in our opinion she was an asset to the hotel as was the chef .

The hotel has recently been refurbished , the staff and the drinks were fine but the bar area its self is soulless and seating uncomfortable . The bathroom in our room let the room down , with cracked tiles around the bath and the door needed painting properly to bring it up to a nicer standard .

The staff were superb, friendly, helpful, welcoming. The location was great for access to the beach and was within reasonable walking distance of the town. The car park was easy to access and free for residents. The room was fairly basic but was clean and had a lovely view of the sea. The breakfast was amazing - possibly one of the best I've had - thanks chef 👨‍🍳 😀

The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the pillows were not great, but hey that's a tiny detail!

the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. I requested a walk in shower and it was in a very large sized bathroom in the annex part of the hotel. It was perfect for what we needed which was an hotel by the sea front to visit family. We were out during most of the days we were there, so didnt need anything more than what we got. The breakfasts were great and the staff were very polite and accomodating.

There was some work taking place whilst we were there but it was Easter break so nobody was working during the time we were there. Towels in the bathroom were not changed daily, (we were there a week), and the room wasnt swept daily. The weather was very wet at that time so we obviously had sandy muddy shoes almost daily. Once mentioned the floor was swept immediately.
