The space, the design of the building, all of the artwork to look at, friendly staff, the location...being so close to nature and the sea...there's so much to explore...and the delicious breakfast buffet! For public transport there is the 353 bus to get to and from Helsingør and you can take the local train from Højstrup station which is close by, and from here you can get further along the coast to Gilleleje and other seaside towns.

There isn't anything that we didn't like. Just a couple of small things to add to improve the experience in the future: some vegetables, or just some cucumbers and tomatoes at breakfast would be a wonderful addition. We were also there at a quiet time, it could be nice to have a selection of board games/lawn games made more available for guests to use in the communal areas. 9am check out is a little early.

This was a no frills hotel, more for events & conferences than leisure hotel, however the amenities gave you everything thing you needed. The staff were very helpful and views from the breakfast room was beautiful. The room was basic, but was clean & had everything you needed & for the price pretty good.

Breakfast was ok, could have had more healthier options. It’s a bit far from town & if you get a taxi to the hotel late at night, the ballards we’re up at the main entrance, so you had to walk up the long driveway.

It was so lovely to have breakfast in a dining room with such an amazing sea view. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We really appreciated the free coffees and the bottled water. We really enjoyed walking down the forest path from the hotel to reach the sea.

One very minor comment is that we would have liked access to a vending machine, so that we could have purchased some snacks when it was late evening.

The room, centre and its ground are fantastic with wide open spaces both inside and out. Guests have space to break out into coffee areas, outdoor seating with views out over to Sweden.

The breakfast was a little disappointing as one serving table was relatively bare and unstocked when first approached in morning, with the other providing minimal items wanted. This was rectified after we had sat down but again some items were not too hot. The views from the breakfast area were lovely, out to the gardens and over to Sweden.

View from the room was good as it was opening up to the golf course. We were quite disappointed during the time of check-in as we were not given a room based upon our booking. The hotel gave us three rooms to look at and pick from and we insisted on the room we initially booked. Finally we were alloted a room that was comfortable. The rest is history.

The hotel consists of several complexes connected to each other by corridors. It was quite difficult to find the room, the receptionist's instructions alone were not enough. The bathroom is small but beautiful, modern and renovated, it is perfect. The room is small and not as modern as it looks in the picture, the equipment is old. We had a ground floor room with a high wooden ceiling. The bed is comfortable, it was quiet outside all night. The view was wonderful, of an endless grass and forest. Breakfast was good, excellent coffee from the machine, scrambled and boiled eggs, marmalade, butter, 3 types of fruit, cheese, cereal. Yogurt, paprika, fresh bread and much more. The breakfast raised my impression of the hotel.

Breakfast ends very early, at 9 a.m. during the week, and at 10 a.m. during the weekend. The room I was in looks much more modern and beautiful in the picture than it is in reality. In fact, it is already quite in need of renovation and it is at least about 30 years old furniture. Bad value for money. It was very expensive, nowhere in Europe, as well as outside, I have never been in such an old hotel for such a high price, especially considering that the location is remote, in a small town. There is no water heater in the room. The dining room tables could have better lights. Also, the lighting in the room is a little too weak. The walls are very thin, you can hear everything over them.

This property is surrounded by open grass fields and a net for volleyball or badminton. The majority rooms are not connected to the main lobby but all are a quick brief walk. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was included and it was wonderful! Lots of options, fresh rolls, fruit, juices, meats and cheeses, eggs and more! The staff was also very nice. It was a convenient drive to town and maybe 5 minutes to the castle. There is a lovely outdoor patio in the lobby building as well. It was a very nice stay!

The property is not on the water but it is a short walk through the back to it. Also, the parking is away from your room, in case you have any mobility issues or a lot of luggage. We saw a few people drive their cars closer for loading/unloading but they cannot be parked overnight.

Konventum Conference Center is located away from the city but in a very peaceful and serene environment.Public bus stop is located at walking distance which connects with most of the tourist attractions and Helsingor town.Good ambience,Staff is courteous,responsive and helpful. Recommend and will like to book again.

Suite was a good size for 3 of us. There were 2 sofas. No kettle in the room but there were free to use tea and coffee machines in the corridor and free water. Breakfast was good and we could have eaten an evening meal there if we ordered it beforehand.

Danish buses only accept passes or cash. We were travelling without a car and needed the bus to get to Konventum which is out of the town. We found a cash machine about a mile away but then the bus drivers didn't have change....

A bit dated but okay. The external surroundings are crying for a proper face-lift but the rooms and general interior is quite okay for the price. Breakfast was okay too.

The exterior felt a bit uncomfortable.
