It is a great hotel in an old downtown building, it is 3 minutes from Xalapa's Downtown and there are a lot of restaurants and stuff to see around. The Restaurant and the rooms are great quality and really cosy

It is in a high hill, so for old people could be difficult to arrive. But that is the location constrain, nothing to do with the hotel.

It was very inexpensive, and the room was cozy and charming. I also liked that it was very close to the marathon starting line, where I needed to go in the morning.

There really isn't anything I disliked. I suppose it would have been nice if the room had included a small refrigerator and a microwave oven.

Charming hotel with exceptional location by main zocalo plaza. Access to great breakfast restaurant with delicious typical dishes. Eventhou the hotel is in the middle of the crowded and noisy, the room as quiet and secluded.

The room was dark, typical for a traditional old town construction. The bed/pillows could be better. The location was great for closeness to main attractions, but the entrance street was extremely busy and caotic.

Clean and great location for walking in the city center. It felt rustic with an antique feel that was really unique.

Parking is very difficult and the room doors don’t seem very secure.

Excellent stay, great bed, cotton sheets, very friendly staff and very good breakfast with hand-made tortillas. They also have water freely available to refill. And really nice hot shower.

I would have like to be able to open the window of the bedroom throughout the night and not just have the option of the AC. Maybe another chair or where to put my suitcase would be good too.

The safe did not work and they have no place for your items at the reception. Service at the restaurant took 30 minutes for scrambled eggs.

This hotel was adorably charming and in a superb location in the heart of the City. The common area is a beautiful garden and the staff is helpful. Parking is a pain in the area but the hotel has a very nice secured parking area nearby for guests. Our room had a loft where the beds were located and going up and down the stairs can be a little tricky but for us it added to the charm. Our room rate included the breakfast which was basic continental with bread, coffee, tea & fruit but for the cost difference you can upgrade to something more substantial and their menu is quite extensive. For our 1 night stay this hotel was perfect although it isn't super comfortable/cozy so I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay.
