The breakfast was absolutely delicious! I loved the location, walking along the water front. The coffee shop down the street served great drinks and had a decent selection of baked goods (muffins, cookies, pastries). The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

The room was a little small for the four of us, especially when we were all getting ready for the wedding. Mirror space was at a premium with three women in the room. The hotel was also more expensive with the additional daily parking fee. I am glad we only had one car between the four of us.

Maybe the nicest waterside location in Beaufort. Just make sure you get a room with a view! Pleasant room and staff. Close walk to a great part of town. Step outside and you’ll see the water!

Parking is NOT free eand the reason is “everyone else in town charges. “ While the location was dazzling, — with a beautiful water look-out across the road – – our first floor room looked across the parking lot to a building that looked like a laundromat we had requested a view. guests walked right by our window to get to their cars, so we kept the blinds pulled at all times.

The location was lovely! It is right across the street from the waterfront park and the whole downtown area with its shops and restaurants is within easy walking distance. As guests we were able to check out a pass to get into Hunting Island State Park at no cost to us and we were able to enjoy a trip to the beach while at the park. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the lovely lady who prepared and served the food was warm, friendly and gracious! All the staff we encountered were friendly and kind. It is our second time staying at this hotel in the past 2 1/2 years and we thoroughly enjoyed both our stays.

The rooms were lovely and while there was a chair provided in the room it was not the most comfortable. I think something a little bigger/taller so guests could sit and read a book for a while would be nicer. And we wish there had been a night light in the bathroom so when we get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom we wouldn't have to worry so much about turning on the light in the very dark bathroom and disturbing others who are sleeping.

Staff was super nice. From the front desk at check in to check out they were very helpful. I forgot a jacket in the room and housekeeping gave it to the frontdesk and they called me to let me know they had it. Breakfast was Amazing!! She does a great job and everything was fresh and delicious. Eggs were soft and creamy, rosemary potatoes, amazing, bacon cooked perfect, grits delicious. Better than almost any breakfast I've had! Certainly in a long time. Hotel is nicely situated in town; Convenient to everything but it was the staff that made it extraordinary.

the hotel needs to make its filtered water dispenser available to guests 24/7. The policy now - requiring them to purchase poor quality plastic water bottles for 1.50 each beyond those in the rooms - is environmentally disastrous, not healthy, and doesn't make sense when they have a water machine already there in the breakfast room. Making guests' key card work 24/7 to access the breakfast room would work, or else install a second water dispenser in the reception area.

Breakfast is good and generous. The best part is the location, near the waterfront. It is easy to walk all around the historic center from the motel. I returned because we enjoyed our stay so much last time. I would stay there again in the future.

The elevator was tricky, but good that they have it.

The only thing that I would like is because housekeeping reported to the lobby person that we supposed to use a hot pot inside of the room and that makes me feel bad because I just bought it and I just forget to put it back in the box and that’s it and the other thing was that I find a spider under the sheets and no one expects to find a spider in the beds

The room was modern, updated; comfortable. breakfast was exquisite and the staff were knowledgeable, helpful and overall delightful. The location is great because you can access the amenities and fun at the marina, but also have historic places within walking distance. Also the treats they keep at the office, are homemade by the staff in the kitchen, so equally scrumptious as what is offered at breakfast. And they have a workout room, and a small pool that does the trick for sticky summer nights.

There is definitely a distinctive taste to the water so if you are sensitive to that sort of thing, I would recommend getting bottled water for toothbrushing or drinking. ..washing/showering is fine.

The hotel was very cute and in a nice neighborhood and the walk to downtown took less than five minutes. The room was nice and clean. The pool was also super clean and nice and we were the only ones using it. The lobby of the hotel had free coffee and cookies and they offered free passes to the beach. Parking was also easy and near the room. Location, cleanliness and a nice pool are my top concerns and this place did excellent on all three.

No complaints!

The Best Western was a perfect location in town, we could walk a block and be in the shops and restaurants. Parking was on site and plentiful. Breakfast was terrific, fresh eggs, homemade scones and great coffee, the breakfast staff was terrific. Rooms have been remodeled with great flooring, new bathroom fixtures and a comfy bed.
