We were completely shocked about the price of this property, really cheap for sure a nice hotel room which is very spacious for three people and the view is just phenomenal. The staff is THE BEST, i mean it, the young guy working at the reception was literally so friendly and helped us for everything (day trips to ha long, scooter rentals…) I really recommend this place as it’s the best money value hotel.

Really nice hotel in Cat Ba cruise harbour. Friendly and helpful owner speaking english. He organizes great boat tours in Lan Ha bay which we recommend. Luminous and clean room on the top floor with a beautiful view on the bay. Hot shower. Elevator ! Big container of safe drinking water provided in the lobby to refill our own bottles. A few local restaurants and small shops nearby. But we preferred walking to the tourist restaurants in the center (15 minutes walk). The hotel restaurant itself was being renovated. It might be a good eating option in the future. Breakfast included (tea, baguette, eggs and fruit). It was taken in the owner's wife little cafe, a few meters walk from the hotel.

Bed mattress a bit hard. A few barking dogs at night but ok with earplugs and no karaoke like in the center.

Bright, light spacious room with fantastic views. Crisp sheets on a comfortable bed, plenty of space for your luggage, fridge and kettle to settle in with drinks.... The large window was great for observing Cai Beo terminal and the bay's activities. Yet it's so much quieter than Catba town. Our room and bathroom were spotless, as were the hotels' public spaces. The staff were friendly and helpful, and allowed us very late check out to suit our afternoon bus. It made our island stay exceptional. Everything you need is a very short walk - cafes, great travel agent, floating restaurants, shops.

It's a nice hotel which is only topped by the very kind owner and the food of his wife's restaurant. The rooms are big and clean. You should book the seaview, it's phenomenal! I really liked that it's more quiet and not as busy as where the other hotels are. You have direct access to the boat tours, since it's right at the harbour, which is really convenient. And if you like to go to the bars and other restaurants, they're just a 4 minute ride away.

The views from our bedroom were unmatchable. We also asked for laundry and renting a scooter and the owner provided us with both faster than expected. We had booked a king room but got a bigger room which was a nice surprise

Amazing location, great rooms and bathrooms, great view from the room.

Although they were extremely sweet and welcoming, I wish the staff can speak a bit of English. I also wish card payments are possible/payable online.

The staff and service was fantastic! Helpful and Flexible! 😁 it is also near the harbour for the tours.

The bed were really hard.. It quite far away from the centre. so you need a bike for sure.

I will say this, the owner of the hotel who’s name was Ba was the friendliest and most welcoming person on Cat ba island, his hotel deserves a lot more, it is out of town and was very quiet, I would recommend it to anyone they need the business

Amazing value for money. Away from construction and tourists of Cat Ba Town. Lovely building. Great views from ocean view room. Would recommend
