Jungleman was very helpful. He gave us advices for the loop, stored our luggage for two days and even gave us access to a shower after return. Just Awesome. Regarding the loop: If you plan to ride on your own make sure to bring an International driving license. There are police control points on the route and you'll be fined without an idp. But on Google maps you find the checkpoints and fan drive around them.

Amazing place to start and end the loop. We did the loop on our own, and we rented the motorbikes via the hostel. They were in great condition and came with protective gear, all for 180,000 per day. The owner also explained the route in more detail to us and answered all our questions about it. The place itself is on a side street so it's quiet and like a little oasis. The beds are pretty comfortable, and the rooms are equipped with a nightlight, water, and bedside outlets. The staff speaks good English. The food menu is limited but has the basics at a fair price. Bonus--there is a sweet dog who has two young puppies that are so fluffy and love to play. Thanks for a great stay!

It's a very small thing, but it takes some time for the water to heat up again once one person takes a shower, which can be tricky if there's 2 of you. But this is typical for the country and only a small detail. Otherwise, we enjoyed everything!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice owner (Luan the Jungle Man) who speaks very good English and will help with anything you need including bus reservations to wherever you’re going next. He will also store any extra baggage you have for free while you’re out on the Loop tour. I stayed in both a bungalow and a different private room. Both rooms had comfortable beds, great AC, large bathrooms, endless hot water and fast wifi that never had any outages. There’s a nice restaurant/bar communal area. The food menu is small but the quality is pretty good and the prices typical, which means incredibly inexpensive for anyone from Europe, America or down under. Great location just a minute or two walk to the main road. All of center Hà Giang is within 15 minutes walking. And directly across the street is a big hill with a great scenic viewpoint. There’s a nice cafe about halfway up. You walk or drive to the cafe for great views and a drink. Or continue walking up the stairs to the very top for even better. Jungle Man also has a good selection of motorbikes. Most are semi-automatic but full manual and fully automatic also available.

The road noise can occasionally be a little loud but not too bad. Cheap earplugs are enough to allow good sleep.

Kind and helpful staff, fair prices and a cosy and quiet stay. Everything in Ha Giang is within walking distance and there is plenty of local restaurants nearby. The property also rents out motorbikes if needed and they can also help plan your trip on the loop. I'd definitely come back here to stay in the future.

The family was all very welcoming and warm, but the dog was the best chaperone I've ever had. Every time I went for a walk, to the shop, or out to eat, he would guide me down "his" street and then return home. He's a wonderful family pet. Thank you all.

The stay checked almost all boxes: cleanliness, comfort, spacious room, and even a friendly puppy who enthusiastically greeted us. Our room was nicely decorated and had all the facilities and amenities we needed. We were here for only one night so we didn't really look around the whole place but it seemed like they had BBQ and billiard tables.

The option we picked was a bungalow so we expected a small cottage separated from others. Thus we were a bit disappointed when it turned out that all the "bungalows" were connected wall-to-wall and didn't give us the privacy we thought we paid for. It wasn't a major issue at the end of the day but it would have been better if the name wasn't misleading.

The bungalow was spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. I went there to rest after the Ha Giang loop and end up sleeping 14 hours !!

I did a really late check-in after arriving by bus from Hanoi. They were really accomodating towards it and even held my luggage while I did the motorcycle loop.

Bathroom is shared, so the room is only a bed on the floor for sleeping. Still, it was comfortable

Stayed for the night before the loop and rented a motorbike from them as well. No complain with regards to the room except the invasion of insects. A genuine jungle experience I must say. The staff was the highlight of this place, briefed on routes to take and places of interest along the HG loop despite not taking up their tour. Bike rented was in tiptop condition as well.

Aside from the insects, none.

A quiet family-run Hotel with a super friendly owner. Big rooms, simple decor, good shower with hot water. Great for unwinding after doing the Ha Giang loop before moving on.
