I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. It felt truly luxurious but in a very pleasant way. Especially after traveling for a few weeks through vietnam, this place allowed me to relax and sort myself before the ha giang trip. The pool and the very spacious room with a great view are just one of the many benefits. The staff was very forthcoming. Something that stood out, is that we were allowed to leave our luggage in a separate and secure room while doing the ha giang tour - for free. I would definitely come back for my next visit.

View from the top floor is fantastic. Only a short walk to the city. Bed and the room itself was very comfortable.

We stayed here twice and paid for both stays in advance. When checking out after the second stay they didn't have a record of us paying. After some time and showing them the bank transfer statement they finally found the records. Staff was very helpful finding alternative transport to Hanoi after we heard our bus had broken down. Breakfast is very Vietnamese with few European options. Went to the pool, which looked very nice, in the early evening but decided against a swim as we couldn't get past the really loud pop music being played over the speakers.

if staying in ha giang this hotel is well adequate for a pleasant stay close to everything the hotel was clean and rooms were large we were doing the ha giang loop on motorbike so hotel carpark underneath was good and secure for the bike i would definitely recommend this hotel for a clean and comfortable stay in ha giang. Hotel on the main road but the noise did not bother us we were on the 6th floor there are rooms elsewhere.

it said no smoking in the room but we did smell smoke in the room so whether someone was smoking in another room and this was coming through the aircon system not sure.

The hotel is better than I expected. Room is clean and spacious. Staff are very attentive even sometimes with limited English, they still try to do their best to assist you . I did a massage in the hotel , the girl did massage for me did a really good job . I forgot her name . I highly recommend if you have time , try the massage in the hotel , very professional.

Not really, just the way they set the table for breakfast is a big strange. Big round table for ten people. Probably for group. You can alway find small table . Breakfast variety is very limited.

The staff were exceptional. When we arrived my wife had been involved in an accident and broken her hand. The receptionist Ms. Nguyên Thi Thu Nga immediately stopped the check in process and rushed to get my wife ice for her hand. She was extremely caring and an absolute asset to this hotel facility. The hotel itself is extremely comfortable and has everything you need. It is also in a convenient location with easy walking to food/cafe's etc.

Stayed here before the loop, seems to be a brand new building that isn’t quite finished yet but still very comfortable, clean and functional. I expect the building will be finished within a month or two. The room was large and a very good bathroom. Great walking distance to pretty much anything and the buffet Brekky was also good. If you’re looking for comfort before or after the loop, this hotel checks the box

I had a fantastic 8 day stay at Yen Bien Luxury Hotel. After two weeks motorbiking rural Vietnam, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The rooms were very high spec, clean and spacious, with Netflix and You Tube on the TV which many hotels don't have. I was fortunate enough to stay on the 12th floor and the views over Ha Giang with the mountains beyond were absolutely incredible. There was a roof top swimming pool which I only went in a few times but one night the full moon was glowing on the horizon and it was truly stunning. The gym equipment was a little lacking and it was difficult to have a real work out there, so I joined a local gym which was 15 minutes away. However this was my only complaint. The entrance and the foyer was extremely grand, and the cold air conditioning hits you as soon as you enter, a welcome relief from the sweltering humidity outside! I had several massages in the spa area of the hotel which were high quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was decent. The best part of all was the value for money! This hotel was extremely good value for money. I will return here when I come back to Ha Giang!

There should be more equipment in the gym.

Great room size and spotlessly clean. Nice bathroom - just don't forget to lower the blind over the window to the room if you want some privacy!!! Fairly central so most places are within walking distance.

Breakfast finishes at 9 - not ideal when you've been on the Loop for four days and are shattered! Very little 'western' food . Mainly caters for Vietnamese group tours so it gets very loud! The karaoke bar opposite is extremely loud from about 4pm (although it stops at 10pm) - request an even numbered room at the back of the hotel

The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They went out of their way to help my friends and I, storing bags, recommending restaurants, and bringing us juices whilst we waited. The bar staff were also great!

The rooms were a bit old and need refurbishing like the rest of the hotel is currently underground. Clean but worn and some items needed replacing, like the shower.

The room is spacious. Great views from the room. Bed 🛌 is very comfortable. Breakfast 🍳 is excellent.

Toilet was not clean when arriving. Very hard to communicate. Maybe 🤔 English speaking people are not in their main focus. Exception Manh from the reception. Manh also organized me a limousine bus ticket 🎫 to Hanoi which worked perfectly.
