This place was so lovely! Borgomaro in itself is a dream, and this hotel is the cherry on top. We arrived just in time for afternoon tea which was absolutely fabulous; their selection of teas, beverages, cakes and cookies was really impressive. Everything was clean, and there is a spa-like atmosphere to the hotel which gives it even more charm and makes it super cosy. In the morning the breakfast was a buffet with a wide variety of delicious foods. We will definitely be back!

The only minor things I will mention is that when booking, I asked for a quiet room, but when we arrived, we were given the room right next to the stairs. Small other detail, the only water bottles in the room were in the minibar and at a cost of three euros, which I thought was a bit much. Nowadays most if not all hotels, especially 3 stars and above, do offer complementary water.

The staff were very good. They were keen to make sure that guests were being looked after well and it felt like they cared about the hotel's high standards. The breakfasts and other food and drinks on offer were high quality.

Although very comfortable and well equipped the room was a little dark but I understand that's a drawback of older properties facing onto narrow streets.

Room in authentic building on two levels. Nicely decorated. Amazing breakfast and teatime, all from local producers. Very kind and helpful staff. They offer all kinds of informations personal or in their own brochures. Garden setting is a blast! Unfortunately it was too cold for the pool but it looked very tempting! We had an amazing and romantic time. We will come back for sure!

The weather 😏

This is the highlight of our trip to Itay Liguria from Nice. We enjoyed the hospitality from the owner and her staff, the healthy and high quality breakfast buffet from the local source, it's really an eco conscious hotel. We booked 2 beautiful and comfortable rooms (all their rooms are beautiful). We had the best dinner in the local area recommended by the hotel. There's no menu in this magical restaurant, the chef uses whatever local ingredients he can get, wines are included. Another way to show the slow food and eco friendly way of living with harmony. This little hill town is very charming, we will be pleased to come back to stay in this special hotel and eat at this fantastic restaurant again. Thanks Elena for making our trip so memorable 💖

Wonderful place. Beautiful room, family room in the casa del borgo. Amazing staff, great breakfast, charming garden and pool. Lovely village.

It is quite a lot of walking and climbing stairs. No problem at all for us but important guesstimate are aware. No disabled access in casa del borgo but no problem in main house.

Really good location and staff. Good breakfast and tea time. Really clean spaces. The green areas are superb. They have been able to make a really beautiful hotel in an almost-desert town. They have been even able to create a synergy with a local restaurant which prepares superb dishes.

I took the suite. To be honest, it was a bit too expensive for the service and the room we got offered. I have been in this Relais before but I never took the suit. I have to say that the other rooms are almost the same and that the difference in accommodation does not justify the price difference.

This hotel is exceptional. Stylish and thoughtful interior design, fantastic breakfast, afternoon tea, drinks. lovely swimming pool and beautiful garden. The staff were totally lovely, welcoming and helpful. Loved it so much and so grateful for the welcome we received.

We were slightly disturbed by the frogs in the river which croaked all night but everything else was so wonderful that it made up for it. We heard them when in case Del Madre. When moved to Casa del Borgo it was very quiet indeed.

Relais Del Mario exceeded our expectations in every way. It is such a beautiful hotel no detail is left untouched so beautiful In every way . Inside& out we loved our room, the view , confiratbje bed, wuiet, restful and great showe as well. The pool& terrace were perfect and all the staff were so hospitable & helpful in every way . And the aperitif was lovely, tea time wonderful with homemade pastries & bountiful Organic breakfast extrodinary& delicious . We truly appreciated everything& everyone . We only had one night in paradise and hope to return someday & stay longer big thank you to all grazie mille !
