It was an extraordinary vacation. Sanremo is a perfect choice and the hotel was extraordinary. Close to the beach, clean, with parking, with an extremely professional staff always smiling, excellent breakfast food! And all culminated with the fantastic kindness of the hotel Director who had a great idea to organize a festive evening for all the guests. It was an extraordinary atmosphere throughout the stay. From our side, they have a great recommendation, a big thank and a promise that we will return there! THAN YOU!

Amazing location next to the beach. Staff generally were excellent and very helpful (especially like to thank the girl on reception (in the red glasses) the first day helping is to get easy access for our luggage). Access to the beach and loungers was easy (although at a charge if €35 per day)

The spa was a little basic a felt a bit dark down in the basement. Would have been nice to have a real pool. The restaurant was OK but not fabulous and Id recommend to eat out at the plethora of local restaurants.

Good location (near the imperial promenade, over the beach), rich breakfast, nice view to the sea, spa at the hotel, comfortable bead, spacious room and bathroom.

The seats at the spa are not very comfortable, the walk to the hotel from the beach / street is up hill

Clean room; and a great location, a few hundred metres from the San Remo beach

the hotel is a slightly odd combination: behind the impressive fin de siècle façade there are smart, old-fashioned rooms - but also a rather strange spa area, with peculiar modern grey stone bedrooms. We stayed in one of those rooms, which wasn’t exactly pretty, but comfortable enough. We didn’t make use of the spa (who would want to, in mid Summer, I ask myself).

The location, room, breakfast, and overall comfort was perfect!

It would have been even better if they would have had an outside terrace with a bar.

Confusing advertised name on Bookings. It should say Grand Hotel Des Angöais including spa!

Spa was Ok and modern.

Reception staff are more interested in answering the phone than the guest in front of the desk. The bed extremely hard and uncomfortable. The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbours breath. Too much light coming through into the room from corridor at night. No kettle/cups in the room, when asked they brought a broken kettle and needed to replace again - not professional. No bin in the room. Breakfast was average. I would avoid staying in this place again not worth the price they charge.
