Such a cute little village, and the hotel is clean and airy. Our room was more like an apartment with a large sitting area and large balcony! The spa was fantastic. I wish we could have stayed longer. Also fancy coffee machine with free coffee.

Well, it was extremely hot, and we were very confused about why they kept propping the door to the outside kopem. I guess they thought it was fresh air, but it was hot air like a furnace they were letting into the nice cool hotel! Maybe they aren't used to hot weather?!

Superb location, gorgeous building, and beautiful and spacious rooms. The staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming. The spa is beautiful, and if you have time for a massage - go for it, it’s amazing. The breakfast was delicious too!

Parking is a little awkward, but perfectly acceptable.

Emmersdorf is very nice but approximately 15 kilometers upstream of the heart of the wine country. The hotel and spa are very nice. But in extremely warm conditions be aware that there is no air conditioning.

As long as you understand the location and the lack of air conditioning it is otherwise a very good hotel.

This is a family-run inn next to the Danube River. Just opposite the river is the Stift Melk.We are fortunate to have chosen to stay here. You could stroll along the Danube river after breakfast. The hotel has 60 rooms with a pool and sauna. From the roof terrace, you could see the entire Melk and the Abbey standing alongside Danube River. Very beautiful. We will stay here again the next time we are in Melk.

No staff would answer us in the breakfast room. The female staff saw us but would not serve us. We had to go to front desk to seek help with the coffee machine. Everyone else was very nice.

Very nice place. The quality of the spa was unexpectedly fabulous, and appreciated after cycling for several days. Comfortable room and beds. Our dinner was very good, eating outside on their patio. Good breakfast and well set up for cyclists.

The hotel has a great atmosphere which we really liked. The room was large and comfortable. There were lots of maps, leaflets and local information, including the amazing Morgenpost. That was fun :) The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of choices. We very much enjoyed the evenings on the upper terrace where we sipped local wine with friends. There is also a nice pool and wellness area.

We stayed in room 204 which is on the same floor as the wellness. The room was very spacious, had a bath, a sitting area and a balcony. We loved the saunas, the pool and the jacuzzi. The breakfast was lovely, we ordered some eggs, you can juice fresh carrots and apples. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant. The day of our check out we were able to use the wellness after checking out. We had it all to ourselves.

We had an upgrade of the room which we appreciated. Staff in the restaurant was very help full in accommodating our puppy dog enabling us to enjoy a full dinner instead of eating in the room. Dinner was excellent. We come again.

Great hotel in a historical building. Carefully renovated. Everything felt "old style" but very fresh and well preserved. The restaurant served excellent Austrian food. Our room was spacious and no problem to bring our dog. The spa was really nice and we enjoyed good massages.

The beds were more on the hard side, but still comfortable. As the restaurant had its own wine cellar, we had expected a longer wine list, not only two types of red wine to chose from.

The place was quite unique and the staff was very friendly.

The room was not air conditioned and was a little hot a night. It made it difficult to sleep.
