The convenient location for both the Autobahn and the old town. Garage parking and lift. The restaurant was comfortable and cozy and breakfast choices were good. The staff were all friendly professional and helpful.

The menu choices for the evening meal were very limited. Basically it was burgers or steaks! The meal was very tasty though and served piping hot - but it lacked any sort of garnish (not a lettuce leaf or slice of tomato or cucumber in sight) which would have made the meal look more attractive and appetising. Also we felt that being charged about €2 for not more than a blob of mayonnaise was rather naughty.

The location of this hotel was a bit disappointing. At least a 15 minutes walk along a busy road. The hotel was comfortable but lack a personal touch. Breakfast was good but when we asked for hot food we were told only eggs were available and on our second day realised we could have had a different hot food choice. Found this very strange and staff on our first morning were quite unhelpful. An ok stay!!

Location

Very quaint, well maintained, clean hotel. Room was spacious and comfortable. Very nice breakfast and the patio outside had two large herb gardens and beautiful flowers. Food was very fresh and the apricot/cheese danish was absolutely delicious. We stayed one night and were only in this town because friends live in the area. It was a good choice.

The only complaint is that it is not air conditioned and we visited during an unusual heat wave. With the windows opened, it cooled down enough so we could sleep. It is a little bit dated, but the older style wood work added to its charm.

Excellent location especially for bikers and cyclists with covered parking. Food is top based on local farming and delicacies. Breakfast is great even by Austrian stamdards and Ausrians are world champions of hotel breakfasts. Besides, food is served by a tiny Czech supermodel.

There were a few dead giant mosquitos on the wall of my room but maybe they actually were trophies from an impressive mosquito hunt, who knows?

Room was quiet and had all conveniences, clean and a good shower. Bed was comfortable and the sheets were of good quality. Breakfast was really good with eggs made to order and an extensive Buffet. Fresh bread, and the locally produced apricot jam was, while expected being in the Wachau area, a definite bonus, and really enjoyable.

great family hotel. Very clean, large and comfortable room with a large terrace. Very quite area, next to the motorway so easy access if you are travelling. The restaurant has a well selected menu and includes Bio farmed meets and ingredients from the family Bio farm. Very recommended hotel

The room was enormous! The breakfast was great, particularly the fresh honey. Helpful staff and everything I needed. I know people have commented on the location, but the walk into torn was all downhill and with great views of the abbey for the last half.

Very nice place, very nice staff as well. Room was cozy and had a really nice view. Breakfast was also great. Loved the croissants and the strawberries. Highly recommend and would stay there again if given the chance. Shower water pressure was strong

Beautiful hotel, very clean, kind staff and an amazing breakfast, fully recommend!

No air conditioning, it gets very hot on sunny day. No screens on the windows, so bugs (wasps especially) are coming in quite a lot.

Nice facility. It seemed to be what I would expect of an Austrian hotel.

A ways from the downtown and the Monastery, 1 mile walk. No A/C. Breakfast was extra at $23.
