This was the perfect place for me to stay while hiking in the area, although my wife had to cancel due to foot injuries. The host was friendly and knowledgeable about trail conditions following the recent floods, which delayed my arrival, but she informed me about road conditions by phone and messaging. She assisted my befriending another solo international traveler, even though we had no common language - a memory to last a lifetime. Good food proportioned to each guest's needs. Very clean and quiet. I'm already thinking about ways to return, maybe with my wife and a couple hiking buddies.

I always like to give constructive criticism, but this place is so professionally run that I have no suggestions to offer. My perfect pension stay was 43 years ago during our honeymoon, but this matched it, minus the wife, unfortunately.

If you're in town to take advantage of the mountains and local sightseeing, this is the perfect place to stay in the Saas-Grund/Saas-Fee area. The woman who runs it is a gem of a human being and extremely accommodating and kind (she even helped me when I ran into some issues with the local transit system, which she didn't have to do), the rooms are simple but have everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. The food is also exceptional. I ate one meal at another restaurant in town that was much more expensive, but not nearly as good as the food at Pension Heino. 11/10.

Dinner is only offered if enough people sign up, and in the town there aren't many options, requiring a trip to Saas Fee. Not a huge issue but would have been nice to know that upfront.

The hostess is very nice and warm-hearted. The location is excellent. It takes only one minute to walk to the bus stop. The house is very quiet at night and the sound insulation is great. Highly recommended!

All was great here. I would only add to the other glowing reviews that this is a great place for the solo hiker since you get to share dining tables with other solo hikers. I like to hike alone but in the evenings snd mornings it's nice to have companionship snd laygh and learn together

Great location near the bus station, supermarket and pharmacy. Great view. Can go to travels by foot. The view from the bus to Saas-grund. Breakfast, room colors, room size, bath, cloths rack, heating, the decor in the entrance, the children play room, hostess, lighting in the room.

Some drip noise when showering the other room, but they stop after a minute. Some light through the curtains in the early morning.

Breakfast very good, location very close to the ski lift, but in a quiet place. Great hostess, whose valuable tips help to plan successful trips. Thank you!

Maybe the washbasin in the room instead of the bathroom is a little strange solution, but it's a small detail;)

Extremely friendly and supportive for guests. Fantastic food at dinner and breakfast. Perfect location for access to cable cars, buses, walks, climbs, cafes.

Comfortable beds, close to the bus stop, free bus tickets. Very nice host. Ski/snowboard room.

The triple room a bit too small (but worked well for a ski trip). The sink is in the room 😅
