We absolutely loved this hotel the first time round (the week before :)) and so we came back and stayed here again after climbing another mountain from Saas-Fee. The hotel is conveniently located close to the centre of Saas-Fee but in a quiet location. It's architectural design is beautiful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The toiletries were really nice. We loved the pool, sauna/steam and games room facilities. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all exceptional. The transfer service to the bus station was also excellent. The little details at this hotel are lovely - treats like welcome drinks and cake, free water, and free alcoholic drinks / snacks during the day. We highly recommend this hotel!

While we were having breakfast, a staff member (I assume it was the manager) was having a very in-depth discussion with another staff member about all the things that can be improved at the hotel. While it's nice to see that a hotel like this always seeks ways of improving its services, having a conversation like this in front of guests is highly unprofessional. Both staff members knew we were there and should have stepped away to have this conversation elsewhere.

Amazing overall experience: - Very clean everywhere and in great condition. It is clear the hotel is very well maintained - Very quite and chill atmosphere. The fact that the village is quiet also helped, however inside the hotel it was also aways quiet and relaxing - Service is great, everyone is very polite and helpful. Everyone spoke English - All facilities, including Spa area, library, fun area etc. - Breakfast was very tasty and the staff is very attentive

Nothing that we did not actually like, just 2 notes: - there were no tea cups in the library - the king bed is created from 2 twin beds, and if you select the twin beds, the beds are a little narrow. However none of this really bothered us, just putting it as an FYI

The facility was amazing, well kept and clean at a great location Service was excellent from the moment of booking till departure: - every member of the staff was super lovely and helpful, they all speak several languages perfectly - we felt super pampered - loved the transportation service from the parking to the hotel and to the slopes, including the personal locker - food was excellent, mini bar was free for non-alcoholic beverages and beer, Nespresso machine in the room - the fitness was also well equipped, spacious and tranquil - wellness facilities were also super premium, relaxing and comfortable - towel replacement, detox water, fruits and nuts offered all day

The Capra Hotel was well positioned for walking into town towards the cable cars to the mountains, the included pass for this was much appreciated and made it easy to get around. The staff were very attentive and made considerable efforts to accommodate all of our requests. They had wide selection of foods for Dinner and breakfast esp. for Swiss standards, the included breakfast with coffee and tea refills was much appreciated. The room Double bed suite was very well sized and had enough space to comfortably sit and chat in the privacy of the room. The cleanliness and amenities were excellent, from the mini bar with Nespresso coffee machine to small soaps.

The breakfast rush meant that it was very busy and difficult to get staff attention (time dependent).

Everything was perfect! Our three favourite things: - The staff and hospitality - every interaction and attention was excellent by everyone in the team throughout our stay - The spa is great, very spacious, private, and well equipped - we couldn't get enough of it - The a la carte breakfast exceeds expectations, and the service and attention (especially by Leo!) were excellent every time

Only wish our stay had been longer!

The Capra is a 5*-boutique hotel that provides its guests a very personalized service. The staff (incl. the General Manager) is very attentive und personable. The facilities are very tasteful, elegant and suited to a mountain chalet atmosphere.

Not a major issue, but I should note that the hotel is spread across three buildings connected by underground walkways. Our room was not in the same building as the reception or breakfast area. This requires a bit of walking around.

Excellent service and kind and helpfull staff. | Very good breakfast. | The room was very nice and soundproof (including the door). | Well designed interiors. | Shuttle available for short trips around the hotel (restaurant, parking), since Saas-Fee is a car-free village. | The famous Matterhorn is about two hours away - drive to Tasch, take the train to Zermat, then the cog-wheel train to Gornergrat platform. | Many ski lifts and the Alpin Express gondolas take you to fantastic views of the Alps.

I had higher expectations for dinner.

Actually absolutely everything was amazing: starting from the room itself, style, the most welcoming personnel to the cutest and cosiest SPA, really tasty restaurant and lobby bar. We stayed only one day/night but we got as welcome as we were a frequent guest and it made us feel on edge! So great thanks to the whole team - you are brilliant!

Our second time staying in this relaxed alpine haven! Even better than our first stay. Everyone was lovely, service flawless. Facilities top class. Food delicious. No improvements to be made. Perfect balance of cosy & luxury. We’ll continue to visit & recommend!
