The welcome staff was very polite and helpful when I had any questions. The custodian who cleaned and organized our room did a great job! We were still able to see the beach from our location on the 2nd floor so that was nice! Despite going during an off-season, we did not have any noisy neighbors unlike another spot we stayed at in Tybee last time. I liked that we could control the temperature in the room with no problem via the thermostat or directly with the machine. They gave out these tokens we could use to get a beverage from their cooler in the lobby. It was an unexpected surprise for me and I appreciated the gesture! I also appreciated that no additional fees were added on when we arrived and what was paid through Booking.com was what was already settled online through the app for me (including the parking).

I noticed the room had a TV with streaming apps pre-loaded but didn't have the appropriate remote to access the apps (just a remote for the TV itself), but it wasn't a dealbreaker. Luckily I brought my own Roku stick just in case and used the WiFi to access them. The bathroom sink's faucet would shoot out water uncontrollably if it was up too high so we kept it somewhat low, but also not too inconvenient.

The property was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable the room was spacious. We will definitely be back.

What I didn’t like about the property was people would sit right outside of the entrance doors and smoke and drink which was fine, but at least they could clean up their own mess. This wasn’t the hotel’s problem for sure but it’s the only thing I didn’t like about the place. A side note is that the phone service sucks for the whole city. I liked it but my husband could not stand it!!!!

I liked that they were very laid back with pool hours. We accidentally got in the pool at 8:45 not realizing they didn’t open til 9. They were still cleaning the pool when the maintenance guy came by and he asked my son how the pool water felt and if he was having fun.

I wished they had a trash can in the bathroom as well as changed our trash in our room. In two days three nights we only had been given clean towels. No beds made or anything. But it’s still okay.

The staff was very friendly. The hotel was close to the beach and shopping and dining.

I want to be clear. i really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.The following things by no means would make your stay horrible, but I think it is important to set expectations for anyone who may be reading this review. This hotel is not on the beach. There is a public parking lot between the hotel and the beach. If you get an ocean view room, you can technically see the ocean, but you are really looking out over a busy parking lot. The pictures make appear that it is on the beach, but behind that dune is the parking lot. The hotel is an older hotel and you can see some signs of that. You can tell that they have done some upgrades, though. I did not have a shower curtain.

I like that this hotel is a few minute walk to the beach. The staff are all wonderful, the rooms are always clean.

Our microwave did not work, we arrived to one towel, the room we got was out dated and had barely any lighting, and only one outlet. Also hate that they only give us 3 pillows a bed. -they did bring us a new microwave, and some more towels.

Proximity to the beach was absolutely perfect and the showers near the parking lot were extremely helpful! The shower in the hotel room was also gorgeous and easy to use! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay because the room had potential to be nice with proper insulation and the hotel was around a lot of cool/cute restaurants in stores. Because of this we had no need to move our car once we parked.

There seemed to be mold on the floor and one of the headboards was hanging off the wall, we assumed from how damp the room could get with the humidity. We are all very cold-natured, so we turned the temperature up in our room while following the directions about the sliding door. The room still got to the point of dripping wet and all of our things became damp. The room dried up once we realized the change in temperature was the cause, but a warning about adjusting room temperature as well as leaving the door open would be very helpful in the welcome emails.

I didn’t realize breakfast was offered?? I was given a list of local restaurants at check in - nothing was mentioned about breakfast at the hotel…..I actually thought for the price - a complimentary breakfast would be included.

Offer a complimentary breakfast - and if you’re already offering it - tell the staff at the front desk to inform the guest

The location and staff were great. For the beach the rooms were okay. Thank you for recent upgrades you have made.

The bathroom was okay, but there were a few rust spots in the tub that I originally thought were areas that needed to be cleaned. But overall no real compliants. The team and the location of the property made up for that.

we loved the assistance to moving our rooms to beach view, to getting us checked in, just the general kindness of all. The rooms were clean, there were plenty of towels, we loved the broom and dustpan to get up the sand, the location was perfect, east to walk out the door and onto the beach. we have been coming for three years and LOVE the bikes

we missed the tiki bar. it was closed for the season so the arm bands we got were useless. We would have swam in the pools but they were not heated so we just sat around the pool. It was still warm that week - in the 70s and 80 s

We liked the location, and the staff was very responsive to a couple of issues we had.

There was no mattress pad on the bed. The general cleanliness left a lot to be desired, especially in the common areas and elevators.
