Breakfast was really good. Would have loved some espresso-based coffee (latte!) but wasn't offered and unclear if they were available even though a machine was there. Can't say enough about how friendly the staff were. Loved that towels, insect spray (used a lot!) and sun protection was available. Location was great in terms of the beach - could easily get to the really empty part of the beach. Host had a party one evening and were really nice about including us if we wanted or trying to minimize effect on us.

Parking was a little weird one day when there was an event there, but after a short amount of time it was taken care of. Really these were wonderful hosts who did a great job (and boy did they work hard!).

My wife, son, and I had a fabulous time at the Beachview Inn! The staff were very friendly and professional making us feel very comfortable. My room "The Oasis" was very clean, smelled fresh, the air was frosty cold and the beds were comfortable with clean linen. I had an amazing omelet with blue grits for breakfast the first day and a croissant sandwich the next day; each morning breakfast was scrumptious along with the rum punch and cookies in the afternoon. This was my first visit to Tybee Island and "Frank" was very knowledgeable in suggesting activities and good places to eat. Since first impressions are lasting, this was a great experience to remember and we will be returning in the future. (Kudos to the staff in aiding me with rinsing the squirrel poop off our vehicle after parking under the pecan tree the night before!!!! LOL!)

We LOVED this bed and breakfast. There was a small hiccup with booking.com and it said we would get a double room but then we were informed only a King Sized bed was available but we took it anyways. The BandB was amazing and close to the beach and we will be coming back VERY soon. Just wish we had that side room area so we could have watched TV while our child slept. But other than that the staff was amazing and it felt so family oriented and so peaceful. Love this place!! Thank you for the stay!!

I think this B and B has thought of EVERYTHING!!! Amazing!!

The interior of the main house was very nice, great antiques. We stayed in the Ophelia suite and it was cheery , had a small refrigerator and private bath. Smokey was very helpful and added to enjoyment of the property. The location is good, just a short walk to the beach and a few restaurants. Breakfast was very good and drinks were available all afternoon in the same area. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast.

We loved meeting Karen. We literally booked while sitting in her parking lot. We changed our minds last minute on a trip out of the Country and instead went beach hopping. If we could pick this property up and put it ocean front we would of stayed all week.

Karen asked if we liked old or new upon check in? It was actually our fault we said new so she gave us a different room than we had chose online . The only think we would of preferred is a room with a view and nice sitting area. But, again our choice to state new.

I absolutely loved everything about my stay at Beach view! It was exceptionally clean,the location was great,the owner Karen and your daughter Wendy was super nice and very accommodating. The use of the bicycles was excellent, as we only moved our vehicle once during the entire weekend, that's how great the location is. The provided homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious.Everything they provide from the breakfast, bicycles,beach chairs,beach towels,coolerer to name brand shampoo and conditioner (Pantene) to the jumbo thick bath towel made our stay much more enjoyable and hassle free. Love this place!

Absolutely nothing!

We stayed here for our 46 th wedding anniversary. There are many charming details about this bed and breakfast. The first and most important draw to it though for us is the immaculate attention to cleanliness and care taken to avoid allergens added to the mattress and the pillow encasements to avoid mites and bedbugs. Then the luxury mattresses and bedding. We stayed in Serenity. The room is just that. So simple yet every need thought of and supplied. The weekend we were there the skies were beautiful but the winds were icy. So we didn’t use the amenities for the beach or the bicycles. We walked to restaurants and had rum punch and chocolate chip cookies in the afternoons. There is a cooler of drinks in the Java Bar that we were invited to get water and drinks for our room from. If anything was forgotten or we had a question the hospitality was generous and immediate. We would come back here way way way more often if life and finances allowed.

There was nothing we did not like! There could have been a hostess in the Java cafe during the afternoons possibly and freshly brewed coffees for those who needed a sip to climb the stairs to their room after partaking of too much rum punch… possibly … also a microwave added to the breakfast kitchen in the rooms. Anything you do to make the visit more personal to each guest is very good. If you know why someone is coming a small nod to that is good - or you could offer/suggest some special extras to be paid for by the guests.

This place was absolutely wonderful! the aroma that surrounded our door in the evening was amazing…midnight jasmine. The suite smelled as if we were walking into a spa every time. Breakfast was great and had a nice variety of options and the man who made it was great to visit with. It is a two minute walk to the beach and to any restaurants or shopping

we don’t have any complaints it was perfect for our little getaway!

The spacious rooms were clean, comfortable and attended to your every need with amenities. The food was divine. The service impeccable. The owner, Karen, went above and beyond to connect with guests, anticipate needs and exceed expectations. The porches and interior spaces to congregate were lovely as well. One block walk to the beach. Easy access to everywhere. Bikes provided and well as beach gear. Rum punch at 4pm, cookies and cakes dropped to the room, breakfast that holds you all day until dinner. This renovated, historic home gets a 10 rating from our family.

Breakfasts were exceptional! Karen worked extremely hard to keep us comfortable and relaxed. Everyone was very supportive and attentive. Our room was spacious and clean. We will definitely come back!

Age of the floors meant we could hear the upstairs visitors. It wasn't too bad and we overlooked it in comparison with the rest of our setting.
