The location was close to the beach and city center where there were stores and restaurants. Fairly quiet for facing the main road, too. The clerk that checked us in gave us some helpful recommendations about local food and best places to see the sunset. It was our first visit to the island but it wont be our last. We will probably stay here again.

We had some neighbors that liked to slam doors and would sit outside and talk while their small children were supposed to be going to sleep. Mind you this was it 1 a.m. right next to us. Not a hotel issue as much as rude people issues. Only issue with our room was the nedside lamp bulbs were blown. We told the desk but never got new bulbs. No big deal.

The location is great. The hotel is within walking distance of places to eat, shops and one block away from the beach. They offer free parking. The staff was really nice. For the price, it was a nice deal. We would stay here again.

This is an older hotel so there are some drawbacks. The bathroom was very small. The door to the bathroom was difficult to open and close. The bed was hard and not very comfortable but manageable. The second floor echoes people's footsteps pretty bad. We had an issue with the room above ours being rude by constantly walking, stomping, dropping items, moving chairs and talking loudly. We understand that's not the hotel's fault. We did let the staff know and something was said to them but it didn't seem to help.

Hotel location was fabulous especially considering the affordability of the place. Great free parking room was spacious with balcony and beach was easily accessible by just a short walk. Pool looked nice didn't swim due to it was a little chilly. Staff was very informative with restaurant recommendations. He was spot on for great pizza..nachos..seafood and coffee. Really like the updates they are making hope they keep it up. It gives "old" Tybee Island vibe. Would definitely stay here again.

I was a little concerned about the balcony door and the room entry door. Locks were loose and there were large gaps between the door and the frame. White walls could use a fresh coat of paint due to dirt/grease smudges etc. Overall room was clean.. I did like the blue paint. Toilet had some flushing issues from time to time wasn't a big deal..didnt even bother hotel staff with it..very capable of fixing a finicky toilet myself.

Close to walking distance for many things, a little bit of a walk to the beach but not bad. The staff were amazing!! They were knowledgeable about the best places to eat for the best price. They were very accommodating when requests were made and above and beyond for things not thought of for our daily excursions. The pool was wonderful and enjoyable. They even had pool floats and toys for the kids. The environment was calm, quiet and laid back.

House keeping didn't come clean the room while we were there but we were given extra towels when we asked and they even checked in with us to see if we needed anything. There was no breakfast offered but was not a big deal, there were places close enough that did serve breakfast. We had much sand in our rooms from the beach but we asked for a broom and was accommodated..

So close to the beach. So many fun things to do within walking distance -we went next door to the ice cream place and the restaurant and it was so great. They were extremely accommodating to needing a room on the ground floor and it was so helpful to be able to park right outside our room door. Staff was very friendly and the room was comfortable. Would absolutely stay again.

Bathroom floor stayed pretty wet because of the shower curtain being too short. Thought we were doing something wrong at first, but it was just how it was. Definitely not a deal breaker though, just something to know beforehand.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! The lady at the front desk is very nice and let us know everything we needed without making us feel like a burden. The cleaners were very friendly as well and provided us with anything we needed. The rooms are very clean! There is ice cream shops, restaurants, pizza parlors, gas stations and convenience stores, and souvenir shops all within walking distance, just a street crossing away from the beach and a heated outdoor pool. Tybee is my favorite beach and we will definitely consider this hotel whenever we come back!

Exactly what you need, but nothing more. The rooms could be updated, but I’m not boujee about my hotels. When I vacation I plan on being in the room just to shower, change, and sleep. This hotel was everything I needed. And it was super clean. I’ve seen higher end hotels with more amenities, like fancy coffee makers and smart TVs, modern design, but that were dirtier! The courtyard in between the buildings is beautiful, the grounds were well kept, and the pool was clean. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again.

Very comfortable bed and great location for breakfast and the beach. Whilst this was minimal 'Motel Type' accomodation it was clean and the A/C was very good. Clean towels daily and bed made up. Very friendly staff. Nice pool at hand within the complex.

No coat hangers or rail. A minor detail but something simple to fix at minimal cost. The TV was a bit of a mystery with no obvious easy access to the main channels. Whilst the list of channels on the hotel's brochure was clear, they were an unknown quantity to a visiting UK Citizen. Mind you, what passes for entertaining TV these days is a bit of a nightmare. Did, after a day or so, figure it out and get to watch something that assisted in sending me to sleep.....but maybe that's just me.

Convenience to the beach, food and shopping. Everything was within walking distance from our room. Also, we were in the annex on the first floor so it was quiet and I didnt have to climb steps 🙂. We will Definately be back.

There wasnt anything the hotel could have done because of the 97 degree heat but the pool water was hot. That was not refreshing at all. Haha. Bring your own corn hole bags if you want to play in the courtyard, we couldnt find any.

Pet friendly and affordable. It had a kitchenette. Everything was within walking distance. The ladies that worked there was very nice and informative. My kids loved the pool.

It smelled like dogs kinda bad but we brought our dog so its ok. Our first night there was a big dog next door and it barked all night and made our dog bark so we didnt get much sleep. Lol But they left in the morning and the next night we slept really good. The shower did not have much water pressure. But its ok we made it work. Lol
