Great rooms with exceptionnal view (specially the bottom cottages in front of the pool & sea). Perfect to see the sunrise and snorkle in front of the hotel (which lends you snorkeling equipment for free). Very quiet & clean, with very nice staff that take care of bringing down/up the suitcases (there are some big stairs between the lobby area and the cottages) and also bring the breakfast in front of your room (no need to go up to the lobby).

Nothing, everything was perfect. N.B. Just make sure you have a way to get to the town center as the hotel is up the hill, 2 or 3km away from amed center so if you don't have your own transportation, you need to plan to get a taxi/lift (the hotel xan help you).

We had a poolside room which was fantastic, down a long stairway to the room with only the pool in front of you and then the beach. The beach out the front is wonderful for snorkelling, but bring reef shoes with you. The whole place is kept immaculate and the rooms very clean. They bought breakfast down to our patio each morning. Breakfast is basic but OK. Two excellent restaurants nearby, Galanga an intrepid walk, not far but very narrow road with no footpath, but really worth the effort. Sails which is just wonderful, if you ring them they will pick you up and drop you back, for free, but a tip was really appreciated by the driver.

There was only one photo on booking.com of a few stairs, in fact there are many down to the front rooms and the pool/beach. The staff are very obliging and will carry your bags down to the rooms and back up. But we were just not expecting this, and are elderly. The taxi the staff rang to get us into Amed town was expensive, he had a taxi with Bali Dream House written on it and charged us 200IDR return. I wanted to go to an air-conditioned massage studio, the staff assured me the one they rang was air-conditioned, of course it wasn't. So the taxi expense was wasted!! Most expensive taxi I had the whole time in Bali. Suggest you negotiate a price when they ring.

Really nice place with excellent villas at a decent price. Staff lovely. Breakfast brought to room and that was pretty good too, particularly pancakes. The real reason to visit here though is the fact that it is right on a coral reef. The hotel will lend you snorkels. Being able to snorkel right in front of where you are sleeping is genuinely amazing and well worth the visit. Pool also good with decent shaded options to sit around it.

No bum gun! Very creaky furniture (inc beds and seats) which may need tightening up a bit.

We stayed for seven nights in February in an ocean view room by the pool. We loved the casual vibe, super helpful staff, and good food at Bali Dream House. The breakfast that we had served in our room was excellent each morning. Lunch and dinner options were all good and of sufficient variety to keep us more than happy for a week (we did usually eat lunch elsewhere in Amed). The staff arranged airport pickup for us and transfer to Pemuteran on departure. The car and driver were excellent. The off-season weather was of course a little hit-and-miss for snorkeling, but there is good coral and plenty of small fish right off the property’s beach. The mosquito net on the bed was in perfect condition (not always the case in our experience in the tropics).

The bed slats are a little creaky. The toilet is outside in the shower area rather than inside with the sink.

Beautiful pool area overlooking the beach. Loved having my breakfast there in the morning. individual Houses were well set out and nicely furnished. Gede and his staff were very helpful & friendly and quick to respond. Gede arranged a local fisherman to take me Snorkeling and driver to take me to my next location.

I had booked with garden view. This turned out to be directly beside the noisy main road. The next day I was given the option at no extra cost to move closer to the pool area which was much better.

We honestly could not fault this place. One night was a little noisy with dogs, fisherman and bikes coming and going next door but hey - that's village life. And that's exactly what we came to this part of Bali to experience. The staff were amazing and really keen to make your stay special. One guy bought a fish for us from the fishing boat that lands on the beach right by the hotel, cooked it over a fire for us and served it up with rice, veg and sambal for dinner that night. The room was just stunning and the view to die for. We snorkelled straight out in front of the hotel and saw millions of tropical fish, beautiful coral reefs, a little ray, turtles and giant blue starfish! The hotel pool was perfect to relax in afterwards. Love, love, love this place! We'll definitely be back.

A lovely piece of paradise. Spacious cottages with a lounge area as well as outside lounge and table for morning breakfast. Small but clean and fresh pool with plenty of sun lounges as well as 2 covered ones looking out to the ocean. Snorkelling directly out front and staff will provide you with snorkel gear. Breakfast was plentiful (don't miss the black rice porridge!) and is brought to the restaurant, your room or to the pool. Lots of restaurants within walking distance or a short scooter ride. It's away from the hustle and bustle of Amed town so it's nice and quiet. Spend the little bit extra and book one of the 2 cottages at the front. And of course, as with all the Balinese people, the staff are friendly, helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. It does have stairs to go down to the cottages which wasn't a problem for us (needed the exercise) but may not suit some people. It makes it quieter being away from the road.

The bed and pillows were a bit hard for me. Having said that I slept well with the sounds of the ocean.

This is a beautifully designed small resort built on a hillside leading from the reception and cafe on the side of the road, past lovely gardens and a few bungalows, finally arriving at two sea view bungalows, a pleasant small pool and the somewhat rocky beach. Everything here is thoughtful in design, with a feeling of privacy between the nicely spaced out cottages. The gardens are mature and carefully maintained, as is everything else. Our bungalow had an enormous and comfortable bed, a little day bed by a window and a gorgeous outdoor shower. There was ample space to unpack and store clothes and other personal items, as well as a small refrigerator and safe deposit box. The aircon worked a treat as well. Best of all was the spacious veranda on which to relax and eat generous breakfasts and any other meals that you might enjoy. The resort is a few kilometres south of Amed and there are several warungs located nearby. All in all, this was a great experience!

Our stay at Bali Dream House was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect, just steps away from the sea with beautiful coral reefs, making it a great spot for snorkelling. The pool is spacious, and the entire area is spotlessly clean, thanks to the staff who constantly maintain it. We loved that breakfast was brought to our room or by the pool, adding a special touch to our mornings. For the price, this is truly one of the best stays you can find in Bali. Just a heads-up—there are geckos, but that's completely normal for Bali. Also, if you’re planning to travel around, Gojek is not available in this area, so be sure to pre-book your taxi. There’s also a great restaurant just 0.5 miles away, perfect for dining out. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable stay! 🌺🏝️😊
