The authentic Balinese inspired villas with stylish open bathrooms, pristine pool, restaurant and nature landscape speak of a well managed architectural understanding of local culture and spirit. The location is right at the beach and traditional fishing can be observed daily when the boats return from their trip with nets full of mackerels. We bought some direct from the fisherfolks and the restaurant staff fried them for our breakfast. Right in front of the property is a shallow reef with almost 100% coral cover. They provide living space for a high diversity of reef fish species. We spotted lots of damsels, surgeonfish, fusiliers, anthias, angelfish, pairs of butterfly fish, needle fish, puffer fish, triggerfish of all sizes, squid, stingrays, turtles and even nurse sharks. Particularly for children it’s s perfect snorkeling site since the reefs are at a shallow depth of 1-2m depending on the tides. Water temperatures are at 29-30 degrees Celsius which are quite comfortable without wetsuit. However, a t-shirt against sun radiation is strongly recommended.

A few guests have mentioned that they feel slightly disturbed by the fisherfolk’s activity in the morning. We can not support this since it’s a first hand experience of local life and culture. In fact, we enjoyed the hustle and bustle immensely and felt being immersed in village life close to our luxurious villa.

The location was magical, watching the fishermen return every morning with their catch was fantastic. We swam with turtles and hand fed tropical fish, amazing coral and clear waters. The staff were wonderful, the local people friendly We loved it. Oh, and the massages and facials were divine!

Facilities here are gorgeous and you're in such a great spot next to the beach you can snorkel from. Room was super clean and nicely put together. Staff were lovely, pretty protective over the guests and resort which was nice (although can come across as an attack if they think you're a stranger which they did to me on the first night). Food was super, pool is wonderful... lovely lovely spot. I would come back.

Its expensive, overly so. Its a really lovely place, but is overpriced for what it is. I also requested a pick up from 1.5 metres down the road expecting it to be an easy ask so i could move my bags, and I got very robotic answers saying it would cost 160K and there was no budge. My lovely hotel i was coming from (Hidden Paradise Cottages - slightly less upmarket but also great spot) took my bags for me without a fuss. So the problem solving attitude could be worked on!

Probably the best room in the resort. We had the room right in front of the beach. Very comfy bed. Fabulous view of the boats in front. The boats left really early in the morning but we didn't hear them. It was quite spectacular to watch them all come in at about 9:30 am. We went up the hill and had a juice in the morning to watch them come in and then back again in the evening for a beer to watch sunset. The resort is situated near the end of Amed so it is very quiet and clean. The restaurant was excellent. Lots of choices.

No complaints.

We choose the sea view room at the first floor: great terrace overlooking the beach with a privileged position to watch the fishing boats activities. Comfortable bed and open air restroom. The hotel has a nice pool and manicured colorful gardens. Nice smiling staff. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Everything great. Maybe our terrace could be completed with two sunbeds as the other rooms.

Lovely staff, good food at the restaurant and very generous and yummy breakfast. Gave us an upgrade to a sea front room. Beautiful pool and immaculate grounds. Peaceful bird song in the morning and no issues with noise from the road or rosters during our stay.

Felt sick from the diesel motor fon the boat ride to the coral garden but that is not the fault of the hotel. Very expensive laundry!

Outstanding Location in Amed. Almost Perfect. Spacious Rooms. Great Bathroom. Nice Pool Area. Reef in front of the Hotel. Great Stuff, Great Service. Some Restaurants in Walking Distance. Hotel can arrange various daytrips by car, boat. Scooterrental on Site. Food and Beverage are priced very fair. Perfect place for relaxing.

No Mosquito Net for the Bed.

Bali at its best. Lovely villa located in stunning colourful gardens next to the beach. The beach has an amazing coral garden with fantastic tropical fish to see when snorkelling. The restaurant serves a wide range of tasty fresh dishes and drinks including lots of cocktails, wine and spirits. We are enjoying our stay so much we have extended by two nights. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the spa massages are devine. Very relaxing.

everything was perfect! the most important point we would like to point out is how extremely friendly and helpful the staff was! from the hotel receptionist to the cleaning lady - all of them always smiling and greeting us. they helped us with everything we needed (reservation of scooter, transport to our next destination, etc.) it is an awesome , beautiful , relaxing resort with spa option and delicious food. try the ice tea when you’re there :)! the owners are from Switzerland and were very friendly and welcoming! you can see the love for details in every corner of the resort. we truly recommend !

it’s a bit far from everything else. but it’s easy to book a scooter. if you don’t want to drive but still want to discover the area maybe it’s not the best option because it can be quite the walk to shops, bars and restaurants. but with scooter it’s only 5-10 min

Stunning place, incredibly well kept and very clean. The staff is superb, everyone was extra kind and went the extra mile. We depart at 4 in the morning and they provide us with a breakfast box in advance. The food at the restaurant is impressive, seriously good.

If sensitive with noise could be good not to be close to the room toward the street.
