This stay was unexpected as we only booked it to visit The Gate of Heaven. However, we were pleasantly surprised at the peaceful location and beautiful hotel. All the rooms had a beach view and was spacious for a luxurious stay. The price was great for what we got. Although the Ibus Hotel does not serve food (yet), the nearby Italian restaurant delivered to our room or wherever we were on the property. The staff arranged snorkeling and a trip to The Gate of Heaven for us at a really good price. Amed is definitely a hidden gem, with a lot less traffic and some great restaurants. Loved every second of our stay and will next time book for longer.

Aug 2025 Lovely hotel, with incredible views and access to a fantastic snorkelling area. Rooms have recently been reburbished - and are incredibly comfortable and the whole hotel is spotless. The sound & views of the beautiful beach & waves makes this hotel really stand out.

Only negatives were the number of steps (I have dodgy knees) and the lack of restaurant for evening meal. Though, had a decent breakfast and lunch pizza takeout. Also could do with a few more sun chairs at the pool.

Room was exactly as described on Booking.com The view was awesome, especially for the sunrise. The balcony had a sea view but also overlooking the infinity pool down below. The staff were fantastic and even went out of their way to help me.

The location isn’t brilliant and transport is definitely required to reach the centre of Amed. That said, scooters are readily available for hire from various local sources. The road leading upto Amed Dream is quite poor, many potholes though of no fault to the hotel. Just a caution when hiring scooters.

Quiet area close to Amed with a balcony overlooking the water and listening to the waves crashing in. The two swimming pools were great and the trees provide a little shade. The breakfast was basic but all that was needed. Staff were friendly as most people are in Bali.

Staff were scattered and when you went to the front desk there wasn't always someone around. I know this isn't a big deal but no signage around of how to get to the pool, the equipment was a little unkempt. And no baby cot even though on booking com it looks like an option

Good value, beautiful sweeping views, nice rooms.

Hotel is built in sections on a cliff. Rooms are on top, pool is a steep walk below, and beach/bar is still further below. Also hotel is several kilometers from the “main area” of Amed, on a poor road.

This is our 2nd stay here and we love the pools, the view from the room is lovely and also the dining room has awesome views. There is a great choice for breakfast and snorkeling can be done right in front of the hotel.

This is nothing to do with the hotel but the roads have deteriorated since last time and travelling by scooter needs a bit more experience or maybe a better scooter😜. It is usually very peaceful here but there does seem to be more families this year...some a lot noisier than others 😊

Amed Dream is set in Paradise just a stones throw from the Japanese Shipwreck and golden sand. It is around a 10 minute scooter ride from Jemeluk in a very peaceful part of Amed. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and the birds was heaven. You can see the most incredible sunrise from your balcony, or whilst lying in bed! The beds were really comfortable with larger than life pillows, and the bathroom is equipped with everything you need and a nice big shower with great water pressure. There was plenty of options for a delicious breakfast on the terrace restaurant overlooking the ocean, and although we didn't have time to eat dinner there, the menu looks inviting. The beach bar has a great vibe, and we were lucky to be treated on our first night to some local live music. But the best part about Amed Dream has to be their staff, Jafar the manager is the hostest with mostest, and treated us like part of the family the moment we arrived. He helped us extend our wifi connection in the room, arranged airport transfers, and drove us around on our final day, helping us locate some forgotten personal items and joined us for some dinner. His staff we so attentive, professional, but down to earth, and made us feel really welcomed and comfortable. We are so glad we made the last minute decision to leave Ubud and come to Amed for our last two days in Bali, a rare find, that we will make sure is placed on the tourist map. We can't wait to come back and see all the awesome things you have planned for the Amed Dream come to life ♡ Thanks to our driver who drove us to the airport (I'm sorry we didn't catch your name) and thank you to Amed Dream for the best last two days of our trip. AMAZING hotel, probably the best we stayed at in Indonesia. BEAUTIFUL, comfortable, amazing pool and beach and great staff. A++++

Location was kind of far from town, so getting there was a pain. My friend and I both dive so the dive shop picked us up, otherwise you'd need to hire a taxi or rent a scooter to get around.

Rooms and facilities were well maintained.. sea view room from room was sensational

We stayed in room 205 which is directly under the dining area.. we could hear noise each time a chair or table was moved in the dining area above us.. perhaps some soundproofing here would be good or simply putting felt under the chair legs

- The view from the balcony is amazing - You can listen to the sound of waves during the night - The staff is very friendly - The dadar gulung and the mie goreng we had for breakfast are delicious - The location is quite remote, therefore quiet - Stargazing at night on the beach is an amazing experience

- I wish they would add a "Do not disturb/Please clean my room" sign in the rooms - The WiFi connection could be improved, especially since due to the remote location there's no mobile connection
