Absolutely Amazing staff.. extremely helpful and kind, even revealed a whole cave system close by that i was unaware of!.. and the manager was even a fan of anime and noticed my "One Piece" shirt, and started a whole conversation with me about it, that I truly appreciated.. 10/10 would recommend this place to absolutely everyone.. even more so if you're on a spiritual journey.. the energy here is 10/10 due to it being a ex spiritual retreat place <3

The lounge is very interesting, with unique decoration, making me feel comfortable in the pleasant atmosphere created for the guests. Great place to relax and read your books. The bedrooms are simple, but clean, with comfortable mattresses and duvets. The staff, Tyler and Lucy were so welcoming, that I felt at home. Do not expect luxury or perfection, it is a simple place, as life should be. Really relaxing!

It is a work in progress. The staff are working hard to make it a pleasant place to be. Still some outside cleaning to do.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to meet the needs of ourselves and other guests. The common area was comfortable and homely, and we were able to help ourselves to tea, coffee and hot chocolate there. We were able to have a BBQ and use both the firepit and fireplace, and there was a lake on site to watch the sunset. We stayed in the accessible twin room, which had a hospital bed, a large shower, and a sit-down bath with door, as well as an emergency alarm cord. It was on the ground floor (like all rooms) and had a small fridge outside (as well as the fridge in the kitchen) which could be used to store medication if required.

Breakfast was not provided, but this was not advertised - it would just be a nice addition!

The location was stunning! Close to the main road, but very quiet, surrounded by trees. Interior design in the house was warm and welcoming. Fireplace on when we came home from a big day of walking.

Kitchen was closed/out of order so we didn't have access to anywhere to cook (except a microwave) for the entire weekend. Small fridge didn't get cold. Would not bring food to cook next time.

Under new management. Give them a chance and they will surprise you. I don't think there is anything you'd miss that you'd expect to find at this price point. They are looking to upgrade facilities in the near future.

Shower needs a little attention, the hot runs very hot and cold runs very cold. TV's in rooms would help but as we spoke about to the owners, it is the type of place you wouldn't expect them! Give them a chance.

The location is fantastic which is why this was our 2nd visit. Beautiful surroundings and the walk to the lake is worth it. The communal room is fabulous, especially all the candles and crystals. Bed was super comfy and shower hot. Rooms look like they have been refurbished since last time and were very clean. It's incredibly peaceful. The manager, Jemma, is very helpful. Oakleigh was also very helpful and friendly.

When we arrived it turned out the place was closed and bookings shouldnt have been taken but Jemma was incredibly accommodating, a Booking.com issue, not venue issue. Will book direct next time. It's a bit tired looking and the abandoned cars are a little strange but adds to the atmosphere.

The host was extremely welcoming and friendly. He went out of his way to make sure we had the best stay and made us feel very relaxed. Room was lovely and warm on arrival and informed us on best routes and places to visit. Great hidden little gem of a place, will definitely be returning in future. Thank you for a very relaxing and great night away.

There was absolutely nothing I could find fault with.

Had been before and was run very differently (was poorly managed and previous manager was not very professional). Understand it's under new management and can see It's completely been transformed and is immaculate. Matt and Pete are so friendly and helpful and great guys (go over and beyond). Place is very clean, great facilities, room clean and comfortable. No complaints!

Lovely simple clean rooms, although all the Egyptian statues were not to my taste, I could appreciate the effort. This is normally run as a spiritual retreat place so best to avoid if you're against spiritualism. The shared area is comfy and warm, with tea making facilities and lots of squishy sofas. Lots of parking. Very good value overall. Make sure to ask for a towel when you check in.

I didn't mind but when it says "shared bathroom", it really means that! There are two showers and they are right next to each other with just a curtain to separate.
