Beautifully located for views, the best part was the view of Kanchenjunga directly from the hotel at sunrise. The hotel staff and those in the restaurant were very courteous and helpful. The restaurant is clean, good food as well.

I had to downgrade at the same price to smaller rooms in the main building since heating in winters is not adequate in the cottages, which appeared a bit rundown. Felt overpriced.Although overall good experience, room fittings could be better maintained.

Overall, quite nice complex. Very nice and kind staff. Rooms were comfortable, food choice (especially for dinner) was quite good. The view to Kanchenjunga (if you are lucky with the weather) is also amazing.

Internet was horrible... I see it is a repetitive comment, so the hotel would really need to take some action. Windows in the rooms were not opening, which created a constant smell of humidity.

The hotel location & its facilities were excellent. The food was outstanding. The front office & even the manager were there to help in every aspect.

My booking was of 2 rooms comprising of 4 adults & 1 child (17 years old). Unfortunately the system did not reflect the same. It showed that that the booking was for 4 adults only. I had to pay additionally for my child. This is the limitation of booking.com

Location is very close to Ghum station. Spacious property with good facilities. Restaurant, room service very good, with nice spread for vegetarians as well. Views from property (weather permitting) are good. Very Courteous staff

The beds are spring beds which (personally) I feel are uncomfortable.

Some rooms / suits have an amazing view offer peace & tranquility, others not so (some rooms in poor shape) Good food, excellent and ever helpful staff. The Breakfast spread & variety was adequate. The South Indian items on the menu (Idli, Dosa etc were very nice) A good spa which is reasonably priced Well stocked games room with host of games (TT, Pool, Air hockey, carrom, lot of board games) Few places if you want to setup a private Bonfire The hotel conducts interesting group activities in the evening

The property is at the top of a steep hill with a narrow access road cutting thru a market [Broken road is not the hotel's responsibility, but makes getting out & reaching the hotel hard] With rooms at multiple levels, old folks / people with accessibility challenge's will find it hard to walk within the property (although ramps available to 'Most' part of the property) The first Suite that we checked in was in bad shape (old & dirty linen) - Although Staff readily changed on request Lot of hotel furniture, fittings needs immediate replacement / maintenance

Overall experience was wonderful. We got upgraded in a better family room.

What we didn't like was not anyone's fault. The slope one had to climb to approach the hotel, the ups & down layout, the road connecting the resort to the main road was too congested & narrow. Lots of time was wasted due to road clogging.

Absolutely great service and location. Best views of the Kanchenjunga on a clear day. Great food, some local dishes available on request. Best staff ever. They made the entire experience worth it.

The view of the property is mind blowing. I mean, waking up straight with the view of Kanchan-jangha was surreal to us. The view and comfort of the property is perfectly augmented with the SUPER FRIENDLY staffs. special mention to the restaurant- the food was amazing and they will make food as per your recipe.

it’s like 8-9 KMs away from Darjeeling City Centre which costed us a bit to travel back and forth to the city.
