We had a very spacious room with a sofa, refrigerator, microwave and Kuerig. Gorgeous view of the lake. And importantly, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was reasonably good but not included. The area down by the river was lovely.

We are seniors and had two long flights of stairs to carry our luggage. I was a bit disappointed that there were no staff members to help. The pool was nice but small for the number of guests. Lots of kids were jumping in constantly even at 9 at night. So it was tough to swim. Most smaller hotel pools have a no jumping rule. And maybe some adult only hours. Hot tub was a bit dirty. And the pool towels were stained and frayed. Also we thought it would be nice if kayaks were offered for paddling on the lake.

The view is spectacular, the location is very practical and the staff is friendly and helpful. The furniture could certainly get some refreshing but it wasn’t affecting the comfort level. The kids had space and the pool to entertain themselves.

The cleaning was not at the level you expect for such a place (scratches and chips off the walls should be taken care of on the regular). The rooms are not soundproof and you will hear the next rooms and hallways. If you are staying for more than a couple of days, I recommend you take the family rooms on the parking side as they are a lot bigger than those on the lake side. All of this said, I am still really happy with my stay and will come back.

The room was beautiful - we had a second bed on a mezzanine so the kids were in a separate area and were able to sleep while we had the lights on downstairs. Food was decent (only sampled breakfast but wish we could have stayed for the dinner). Hot tub was fun and the pool was nice and warm so we spent a good portion of time in it. Also had a sauna tucked away on the first floor which was pleasant after a long drive. Nice location with view of St. Laurent river.

No pass cards but a good old-fashioned key for the room - made it a bit tricky when sharing the room with four people and trying to figure out who had the key and where they were. No pool change area that I could find, so a bit awkward walking through the restaurant patio to get to and from our rooms to change. Also, third floor room and no elevator - good thing we don't mind the exercise! Other than that, great stay!

Room was very nice, spacious with good seating area and a small outdoor space. Coffee maker and fridge in the room was much appreciated. The view was fantastic looking out at the lac. The outside area was wonderful with full of places to sit around and even to go down to the lac.

The fact the restaurant and the bar are closed on Sunday night and the lack of a microwave in the room.

No mention on website or reviews that there was no elevator & room might be on 3rd floor. When I checked in, reservation was non-refundable, I found out our room was on 3rd floor. When explained I have bad knees & husband over 80, was told no other room available. Husband drug bags to room in 2 trips. I only went up the stairs when time to go to bed. Beautiful setting & wonderful chef.

Hotel was in a quiet location. Room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and large bathroom. Evening meals in the restaurant were excellent. Serving staff were very nice.

Although a large bathroom there was nowhere to put things. A simple shelf would havae been excellent.

Unfortunately we couldn't experience the restaurant as it was closed during our stay. The grounds have a terrific scenic view and was just so serene. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

There was nothing really within walking distance such as other restaurants, etc. But if you have a car there are some nice independently owned restaurants and shops nearby that are easy to get to.

The pool and hot tub were wonderful after a long day of driving. The grounds are beautiful and we were pleased that there were charging stations available to plug in our hybrid. The receptionist was very accommodating and he recommended a great place to eat close to the inn as the restaurant on the premises was closed that day. We plan to make regular stops there on our way to and from Ontario.

We got a suite with loft. It was awkward to have our 4 yr daughter sleep on a different floor than us. The loft was connected with a very steep winding staircase. This should be clearly articulated during the booking.

Lovely location overlooking the st laurence river and close to town. The pool was great to spend time on a weekend where temperatures were in the mid 30s. Breakkfast was excellent.
