Even though cleaning takes place every 3 days, it was still a really clean hotel. The staff was understanding with our requests. Their English is ok, and I noticed some of them spoke other languages as well, like Portuguese, so communication should be pretty easy. The location of the hotel is right in the center of the city. Breakfast had a decent level of variety. The pastries were really good.

They need to do something about the doors, because if you let them close on their own, they make a very loud noise, and even cause some vibrations in other rooms. I even felt my bed move a little when a door was shut on the same floor. So either put a "soft close" for the doors, or put up a sign for the guests to not close the door too hard and hope that they'll listen. Although the breakfast had variety, the cold cuts were pretty stale, as well as the cheese.

I asked for a quieter room and was pleased with how serene and undisturbed my corner of the hotel was. Everything was easy to use and all of the amenities worked fine. All parts of the room were very clean and I felt comfortable doing work and sleeping in my room. There were plenty of power outlets for my notebook and other devices. Something my colleagues and I all appreciated was how nice the lobby was with its many seating niches and tables. We used those spaces both to socialize and work together. The hotel staff was exceedingly helpful and polite. The hotel is close enough to the main train station to be reasonably convenient. It's a shame the city center in general was so messy, but I'm guessing much of that was due to the ongoing strikes. Breakfast on the whole was pretty good, croissants excellent, and my colleagues and I appreciated that we could pack a sandwich to go. The seating is very nice and easy to find a comfortable spot alone or with a group. They've got a nice selection of teas for Teetanten. :-)

My only complaint is that the eggs were subpar, very salty and with a rubbery texture. Please invest in real eggs rather than a powder mix for these! This was the only thing that kept breakfast from being tip-top.

The hotel seems to be rather new and clearly designed by people who might have stayed at hotels for business trips often enough. The rooms are well sized, nicely decorated and come with all the little details one iften misses in other hotels. All the team was really friendly and caring. The location is conveniently close to public transport, right at the city center and just a short walk away from the main railway station. I particularily loved the desk and chair as in most hotels they are not really usable for work, where as here you have space and a comfy swivel high back chair.

Brand-new hotel in a newly built complex. Stylish interior. Intelligently designed rooms with plenty of outlets and fast internet. There is a little workspace with a comfortable armchair opposite the tv that was suitable even for serious work. The bathroom was quite large with a large walk-in shower. The room still has a phone which was a nice touch. Snacks and small dishes are available. Reception is staffed 24 hours. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located right in the center of town within easy walking distance to many restaurants, city hall, the main shopping areas, the Christmas market and the main railway station. There is a large fitness studio next door.

There wasn't much to complain about. The mattress is on the hard side, but that will only be displeasing to some. While the breakfast restaurant is very nicely done and breakfast was ready at 6 am, the offerings were a bit below par with regard to quality (e. g. breakfast rolls, cold cuts), but not a big deal.

I was thoroughly impressed with the breakfast at the hotel. The variety of options was remarkable, catering to all tastes and dietary preferences. The presentation was inviting, and the staff was attentive, ensuring everything was replenished promptly. The ambiance was pleasant and welcoming, providing a great start to the day. Overall, it was a memorable experience that added significant value to my stay.

While my stay at the hotel was very comfortable, I noticed a few areas for improvement. The absence of a minibar in the room was a bit inconvenient, especially for guests who prefer to have refreshments readily available. Additionally, I was surprised that there was no complimentary water provided for making coffee or tea. Offering these basic amenities would greatly enhance the guest experience and provide a more welcoming touch to the stay

I can't emphasize enough how polite, professional, welcoming, and nice the staff at this property were! As a solo Black female traveler, I've never felt safer and more valued as a customer. The pictures don't do this property justice!! The location alone is unmatched! There's a supermarket just a 1-minute walk away, and it's in the heart of shops, bars, and restaurants, with the train station just a 5-minute walk away. If you're on a budget, this place is perfect. I accidentally left my credit card in the room after I'd checked out, and they called me to ask if I'd like it sent to me in London!! I've stayed in a lot of hotels, and I can't recommend this one enough!!

My pregnant fiancée and I arrived after a long night of travel, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, allowing us to rest before the regular check-in time. Their kindness and flexibility made all the difference. The room was outstanding—spotlessly clean, with the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The pillows were first-class, and the bathroom was spacious and impeccably clean. We absolutely loved our stay and couldn’t be happier with the experience!

Room was very clean, modern, comfortable and quiet. Lots of tv channels available. Breakfast that was included had a good selection of items from which to choose, including eggs, yogurt, pancakes, fresh fruit, baked goods, cheese, meat. Loved the little bags provided so that we could take something to go as well. Easy to get to the hotel from the train station by walking.

The check-in was less than ideal after a long flight and train ride. I arrived at 12:20 and early check-in was available at 12:30 for IHG members. Staff told me I had to wait and asked if I wanted some water. I said sure and then was asked how I wanted to pay .... really? It cost 6.80 Euros for a large bottle. He left and told me that he would check me in when he got back. Another staff member took over the counter, when another guest arrived to check in. She checked her in right away. How does this make any sense??

This hotel was a short walk from the train station, and was conveniently located close to markets, restaurants, and shopping. Everything was clean and comfortable. We were greeted by Sonja, Johnnie, and Oscar and they were very friendly. We had some trouble getting the AC to work in our room and they were extremely helpful and changed our room when we couldn’t get it running.

The AC in the first room wasn’t running properly, but there was no maintenance on staff at the time so they were able to adjust our accommodations to another room.

The hotel is in the centre of Bochum, exit the hotel and you are in the centre. Parking is underneath the hotel in a public garage for an acceptable daily rate. Beds great, but the bedlinnen for a double bed is so small that one person is left out in the cold. Hotel is brand new. Loved the hotel. Breakfast great except the juices. Friendly staff.

The mentioned bed linnen / covers. The hotel needs to do something about that. I do not know what kind of "juice" comes out of the machine at breakfast, but you really cannot call this orange juice.
