The room is really spacious and everyone love Onsen. Service is good, all staffs were really friendly. Everything was clean and at the best.

We choose option keiseki for dinner accidentally. I love it but the kids not. For my toddler there is no meal so I need to order separately (I am fine with that) but most of the items have to wait at least 30 minutes that’s unacceptable no choice left. (Why didn’t ask us to order ahead of time at the check in, I have no idea. Breakfast is good I love it. But choices is small.

Amazing stay, huge rooms! We had a lounge and a separate bedroom as well for our stay. The food was lovely and filled with local specialties. The staff were all warm and welcoming and special shoutout to the front desk staff for helping me recover my left item as well. The onsen is huge and property generally is HUGE. You will not need to leave at all. Highly recommended for a lovely stay in a quiet location.

Some of the decor and room is a bit outdated but not a huge deal.

Staff were really helpful and friendly, explaining everything to us as this was our first experience in an onsen town. The dinner was very big and featured lots of local dishes (great food but very traditional so not to everyone's taste). Overall lots of new experiences and we had a good time.

The hotel was a bit run down in places (the corridors and carpets mainly). It was a massive building, but seemed there were not many guests staying so atmosphere lacked a bit. Although this did mean that we often had the hotel onsen to ourselves.

The dinner was exceptional - better than other ryokans where I've stayed that were much more expensive. The indoor baths were very spacious, and the outdoor bath was beautiful and quiet. The room was large, beautiful, and clean.

Not much to look at from the outside! But that didn't matter at all. This is a great hotel, with great facilities, services, and exceptional dinner.

- Good breakfast and dinner, my sons got hamburg .They loved it so much. - our room got massage chair ,very relaxing. -Big onsen with lots of shampoo selections. -Lawsons is not far ,in walking distance. -attentive staff with good english speaking at the hotel restaurant. - very big room with tatami and living room.

- Room is far away from entrance ,so taking luggages to our rooms by ourselved was a bit tough. It closed to onsen and diner room though.

They treat you like a VIP. I was impressed. The staff was wonferful, the place is very spacious (largest hotel room we ever stayed at in Japan. We didn't even use one of the rooms) and beautiful, the onsen WOW-Loved it! Kaiseki dinner was sooo delcious. We stayed there two nights and each night the Kaiseki dinners were different. Both dinners exceeded expectations. The breakast was a buffet. Yummy! My friend and I really loved staying here. This was the best hotel of all 4 hotels we stayed at. I would without a doubt stay here again! Thank you Rurikoh for making our trip very memorable.

Nice japanese style room. Room was spacios, well prepared and aquiped. Great and interesting experience. Hotel provides public baths as well as provate bath for 3300 💴. We took a nice private bath. Recomend. As well you can order a massage or use a massage machine. Foot bath are as well very nice. Breakfast was japanese style, quite a good choice. At 21:00 there was a drums performance. There are a free hotel shuttle to take you from station. All in all great experiance.

My room is extremely big and new renovated. The food is very fresh , delicous and with huge proportion. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Onsen is super . They provided a frequent shuttle bus pick up. The stay is exceptional. Remarks: this is my 2nd time to stay. You should not miss this hotel. Highly recommend

An amazingly huge hotel, with large corridors and plenty of space in the rooms. The onsen and open bath areas are also quite large. It was very relaxing given there were also not too many guests stayinga at the time, I was able to have the bath and onsen to myself for quite a lot of the time. The food was absolutely amazing and included a lot of local produce. Staff were always on hand to attend to anything needed and expalin things quite well. Finally the drum show at 9pm is not to be missed. There is also a free shuttle bus from Kagaonsen station which is super convienent.

Some parts of the room were very dated, lumpy floor boards near the bathroom but it was not a huge deal at all as it was only really used for the sink.

My room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner (included) are both good. We didn’t use the public onsen because of our tattoos. Private onsen is not bad though.
