Comfortable and well located hotel. We had air conditioning in our room which was ideal during the heatwave. Everything was clean and worked as it should. Helpful staff. A fridge was provided in the foyer and was handy for keeping drinks cold

There is no breakfast provided and there aren't many cafes nearby to buy any. Local bakeries were closed on Bank Holiday

The rooms were pretty spacious. Lots of windows and natural light. Quite hallways. Large bathroom with good lighting. Lots of closet space.

When we arrived the door was closed and we couldn't get in. After ringing the bell and looking around the owner opened the door for us. I suggest letting your arrival time be known ahead. The room we got put in wasn't properly cleaned. Even the booking confirmation of the previous tenant was there. When we complained the owner was very apologetic and gave us another room that was properly cleaned. The cleaning person left a few days before and apparently didn't clean properly the last few days. These things do happen and it was quickly remedied.

Would benefit from all rooms having air conditioning, although the staff were great and moved me into an a/c room as soon as one became available.

Large room with everything you need. Excellent fast wifi. Convenient right on the square. Friendly helpful staff

Can be a bit noisy at times with the market on Friday morning but worth it for the convenience
