It’s amazing how well maintained the rooms are. All the property is a lot more beautiful in reality. Very much old french vibe which is truly awesome. Also location 10/10, the views are breathtaking.

The stuff tends to be a bit rude, very rigid on their rules, and the dinner is a joke (pretends to be gourmet, but it’s just very very small portions poorly executed), I had to go in the city to buy some snacks after or else I would have been left hungry.

The location, staff, sunshine and general atmosphere was just what we were looking for.

A few suggestions to the hotel concerning vegetarian eaters in the restaurant: We would like to suggest that the main vegetarian meal is completed with some form of protein (beans, chick peas, tofu etc). The meal served was delicious but only consisted of vegetables even if they were good. We would like to suggest that at least one non dairy milk be available for the morning (almond milk or oat milk for example)

Beautiful setting overlooking the lake and ideal for our trip for 3 special occasions. Slight issue on arrival but were given a much better room than they had allocated but I think it was a system problem rather than anything else. Amazing pool area and restaurant both with lake views.

Although we knew beforehand, restaurant was closed Sunday and Monday evening outside French School Holiday season ( we were there following week) but would have been nice to have some bar snacks or light options available.

Really well located for touring the Vosges. Great local menu and well priced and good quality wine list. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Air conditioning was fine although we didn't really need it. Staff were so eager to please despite our French being so poor. Just a really nice and friendly small hotel.

We were in the annex...lovely room but at ground floor the hedge spoilt the view of the lake from the terrace. The terrace was also pretty unattractive. If we had been upstairs with a balcony it would have been perfect.

We particularly liked the setting, and were pleased we'd decided to pay more for a room with a view of the lake. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed eating in the restaurant and on the terrace - again, the views were wonderful. The food was very good without being overly elaborate/expensive. Breakfasts were varied and tasty. Our bedroom was elegant - not huge, but with the balcony/view this wasn't an issue. Nice Clarins products were a bonus.

The only thing to note - not an issue with the hotel itself - is that there is quite a bit of traffic noise.

Friendly staff were kind, accommodating, and accepting or our dog, who was very stressed due to stormy weather. The owner of the hotel was not a fan (of the dog), but all the other statt were lovely. Limited menu, but the quality of the food was absolutely excellent.

Major road with tremendous traffic (hence bad air) spoils the walk to and from town.

Breakfast was of good quality and choice (salmon). The breakfast room was perfectly located with a view on the lake. Our room was nicely decorated, the toilet was separated from the spacious bathroom .The bedding was great; silky sheets and embroided pillow covers!

Amazing place by the Lac de Gérardmer !! Monsieur Paul welcomed us warmly with enthusiasm - he’s the best !! The breakfast & dinner are also great with the lovely view of the lake.

Location, facilities, view, cleanliness

We did not like the fact that we were proposed a different room with the explanation that we do not have to pay for the difference, however at the check out we were asked 28 euros more. This is kind of a forced sale.
