Hospitality! The main advantage of the hotel is the staff! super nice and helpful! 😊 It’s the first time when I’m so grateful to the staff even though I have travelled rather a lot! special thanks to Mrs Elif Belgi! She made everything to make our stay pleasant. also beds were comfortable. the location was good for us. although it is not close to the old city - it is only 20 minutes walk. but our main goals were canyon and cave - and they are anyway far from the center. Ms Elif helped us A LOT with a taxi, I don’t know how we’d come back to the hotel without her help)). there are a lot cafes and restaurants nearby. and the bus station is not far too (what was very convenient!)

the building inside seems to be under construction even though it is not… the bathroom was rather strange (too small and toilet is too close to the shower) and it could be cleaner… but I’m not sure it is not the common thing for the hotels in such an ancient town

Hairdryer was not powerful enough. It took forever to dry long or thick hair. Slow draining shower needed a fix.

Location

The hotel facilities and safety need to be checked frequently. No elevator

= The hotel is located in the center of Safranbolu. There are many restaurants and various shops around, and perhaps all public transport lines pass by the hotel or very close by. Walking distance from the hotel to the Old Town is about 1 km, but there are also frequent minibuses there (17 Turkish liras). The distance from the bus station to the hotel is a maximum of 1.5 km - which can be reached on foot. There is no other public transport to the Glass Terrace and Tokatli Canyon except to take a taxi (150 Turkish lira one way). = The hotel unfortunately does not have a lift - anyone who has difficulty climbing/descending stairs should keep this in mind. = The bed is comfortable, the bed linen and towels are clean and good. But the pillows stay firm and I felt like they were just stuffed into smaller cases. = Breakfast is a typical Turkish breakfast, but every day there is also French toast or some kind of burek, fried doughy little rolls with cheese (they are delicious). = All of the staff are very kind and responsive.

= The room turned out to be small and without special amenities, it is not clear to me what was "superior" about it. But at least there was air conditioning and a mini fridge. = In 3 days they never took out the trash or changed the towels. = The bathroom is run down and doesn't look well cleaned. Separately, while the hot water flows, the water must be allowed to flow for at least 5 minutes. But when the hot water starts, it is already good, has a strong flow and is hot. = The windows need washing.

Comfortable beds, clean , good breakfast.

Not very well maintained building, on a rather busy highway.

the breakfast was okay; the room i stayed in had enough space to move around; it was relatively quiet than the initial room i was given; there were grocery stores nearby.

the room i was initially given was looking to a very busy avenue, lots of noise - they kindly moved me to another room once i asked - the tv was not working, they tried to fix it, but no hope; bathroom had smell problem - toilet bowl had a leak i guess.
