Amazing location very close to the center of Minca. All restaurants and cafes are within walking distance but there was no noise pollution and the hotel was very quiet and relaxing. There is also free parking across the street.

We were a large group of 3 families traveling together for the holidays and we're so lucky to be one of the first guests to stay here. It's clean and modern with multiple places to hang out. The restaurant has great food and the location on the river makes the vibe feel very peaceful. The staff was incredibly welcoming and we celebrated New Year's Eve there together learning and participating in some Colombian new years traditions.

Lovely setting on the river and an easy, short walk to the main street. Restaurant on site for when you don’t feel like venturing out. Hot shower every day thanks to the individual water heating unit (you just have to have it on fairly low pressure) and good breakfast. I enjoyed my stay in Minca and Casa de Hadas so much that I extended my planned three night stay by another three nights.

It would be great if it was made more obvious that you can ask for your water bottle to be filled. I only found out after a couple of days of buying bottled water by seeing other guests having theirs filled.

Loved our stay here. Wake up early to have the riverside for you alone and enjoy the hummingbirds visiting the little feeding things they hung there. We even saw some toucans in the trees near the riverside. Food is amazing, we recommend the skewers (but honestly all things we ate here were amazing). Go with the birdwatching tour of Jungle Joe (no reservation needed, just show up at 6 a.m. at their agency and you pay, get proper binoculars and go, you will return still in time for breakfast at the hotel).

Fresh and modern hotel, situated right on a small river in a tranquil setting. Embrace the cold showers as they are refreshing. There is a restaurant with decent coffee and food, at fair prices. However the service was the most impressive aspect, especially to Nelson who is enthusiastic, hard working & extremely welcoming to the guests. Nelson also has fantastic English and good conversation which added to the enjoyment of our stay here! All of the staff are happy, smiling and want to help the guests. I would say this hotel was good value for money for the Minca central area. The hotel is a short walk away from various other cafes and restaurants and location is easy to get around town. Hummingbirds flying around the river area! Lovely natural setting.

The location is unbeatable. The river, the view, the almost private bathing pool, the view from the restaurant are unbeatable. People are very nice, kind and professional. The restaurant is good. They try very hard to serve you well. Overall, very nice place would stay again

The rooms are a bit tired, or should I say, lack attention. The bedding was linty, so I initially thought it was sand on the bed, the curtains have stains on them. But, you don't notice it till layer, first impression is good. It's pretty noisy at night. You can hear your neighbours very well and the dogs. Oh, no hot water in the shower, but that is standard for Minca

Great location, easy access to the river through town. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable bed.

Breakfast did not start until 8:30am, this was quite late to then be starting a hike as it meant you were hiking in the heat of the day. Nearly everyone staying came down to breakfast early, so it then took quite a significant amount of time to be served (the staff were working as quickly as they possibly could). To improve I would suggest starting breakfast earlier, and also having a breakfast menu. The servers time was taken by dictating the menu to every table each morning. A printed menu would save much time for them.

As other travelers wrote - you will not enter the room before check-in time, even if it is ready. The place is off the beaten track, so it's quiet. The hotel has its own parking lot in front of the hotel. The staff is here to help you, for example, if you want to go to the cocoa factory on a scooter. Breakfast - standard Colombian. The only minus - there was no mosquito net over the bed and there was a large gap in the door :-(

the lack of a mosquito net over the bed is the biggest minus and therefore only 8. If it weren't for the gap that prevented the door from closing completely, it would be higher

Location by the river is lovely. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Nelson can organise excellent bird watching trip with his friend. Food is very good and a reasonable price.

Happy hour beers were a rip off. Deal was 6 for 36000 pesos but then turned out to be smaller bottles. Ran out of local beers, so had to buy imported. Food on menu not always available. 2 massive makita dogs for security, barking during the night if anything passed. Rooms not as luxurious as they appear on photos but serviceable and beds are comfortable.

Nice breakfast area, rooms were clean and comfortable, AC worked well.

Breakfast service was really slow.
