I had probably the best breakfast in a hotel in my life. It was not only good and very elegant, but the view outside was very nice, with a small river, some boats, and some trees. The atmosphere is amazing. The whole area is very quiet and green, the hotel is near a big lake, a forest and some houses with horses around. If you need peace and green, there you go!

I didn't like that I had so little time to stay there. But I just hope that I will get back there next year, or sooner. It is really a superb place.

Our room looked a bit old (not yet renovated, I guess), but it was clean. Nice view from balcony. Breakfast is quite standard (bread, eggs, cheese, meats, cereals, and juices), but good. Rented a bike for 75 DKK for a day. Copenhagen allows bikes on trams so you can cycle to Lyngby station and carry bike to Copenhagen city center. Near hotel there is a lot of green and water for hiking and cycling. You can also rent a kayak/boat to go to the lake and back.

Public transport is a little bit inconvenient, with the bus only running once an hour. Need to transfer twice to get to Copenhagen city center/ airport. There are not many restaurant options close to the hotel. The two towns nearby, Virum and Lyngby, do not offer much amusement and are not very pretty to walk/cycle through. The iron facilities are shared, where every floor has a few ironing boards plus irons that you can move to your room and back.

Location is amazing. Hotel is clearly on board with the green initiative. Great to see. They take exceptional strides to achieve their goals. Secure car parking.

Noisy corridors.. Rooms are not even close to sound proof. The Environment is also about noise and should be considered with the hotels other great initiatives. The tea making facilities, although great, are located in an area without a plug in socket.

The location is stunning, and we had a room with a small terrace facing the river. The rooms are pretty big, and ours had just been renovated, including a new bathroom. It looks like the hotel is in the process of renovating all rooms, so you may be unlucky and get one of the old ones, so I recommend asking for a renovated one when booking. The breakfast is included, and it was really nice with both hot and cold items, plus juices, aronia shots, coffee/tea etc.

The hotel is located in beautiful nature and you can enjoy the fresh air and peace and quiet, which is priceless. Free parking is located in front of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast was good and fresh. I would definitely stay at the hotel again. I recommend it.

A real conference hotel tucked away in the forests which is nearby Copenhagen. We absolutely enjoyed the fact that there was a lake and creek with walkways around. Staff was friendly, check-in was efficient, room was quite spacious and WiFi had no issues. To add, breakfast had organic and delicious options, which was more than sufficient. Easy and free parking as well.

Lovely hotel, gorgeous location.

The restaurant staff were told in advance of our dinner reservation about an intolerance to a food item. But it was overlooked, which led to a period of discomfort that evening. However the staff at the front office dealt with this brilliantly. The breakfast is fantastic.

Excellent hotel, n a great property by the water, probably the best in the Svendborg area. Pleasant 1 mile walk along the water on a protected path to the city and island ferries. The rooms are like small studio apartments (but no kitchen). Excellent Danish/International breakfast included, (but no espresso machine).

No air condition (as is common on most high rated hotels hotels near or in smaller cities), with hotter summers (as 2023) recommend to bring a portable fan. during the Summer time. Some rooms require walking up/down stairs to reach. Dinner menu limited to 3 items per course (with a fixed choice from 3 courses offered as a complete menu for $60). Chose two appetizers at $20 each, rather than the complete menu - which suited me fine, the food was excellent quality and well prepared.

Very beautiful and peaceful location. Quiet rooms . Beautiful, natural interior decor and furniture. Very friendly and professional staff . Very good bread for breakfast .

Breakfast . There was no salmon or herring. No Danish pastry and I didn’t care for the bread rolls ..

Really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. There were lots of places to walk and great options for activities like kayaking

There were ongoing renovations in the hallway and nearby rooms, starting early in the morning. The breakfast selection could also be improved.
