The hostel is great lovated, with everything nearby (metro, train, Lidl, McDonald’s, etc.). The staff gave us a warm welcome, and our room was clean and comfortable. The reception was always quick to assist us, and we never lacked anything. The atmosphere in the bar was amazing—although we always returned to the accommodation tired, next time we would love to spend more time there.
I have only one negative remark (which is why my rating isn’t 10/10). Silence is required in the rooms after 10 PM, which I think is a bit excessive—11 PM would be much more reasonable. On our first night, we arrived a little after 10 PM and were quietly talking while unpacking (around 10:30). At that point, the security guy stuck his head into the tent without asking for permission and told us to be quiet because it was past 10 pm. Not only was he disrespectful, but also quite rude. To make things worse, about an hour later, guests from the neighboring tent returned and made much more noise than we did, yet the security said nothing to them. We had to go over, half-asleep, and ask them ourselves to keep it down. It was an unpleasant experience.

The hostel is extremely clean and perfect for solo travellers. The bar/rooftop area is spacious, I used it to work from home as well as chill there in the evenings. The staff was so kind, helped me with the washer/dryer and with any recommendations I needed! The hostel is at a great location, next to the metro/bus stop. If you walk 10 minutes you will find a street full of thrift stores!
The tents don't have daylight/windows which makes the room slightly stuffy when 4 people are in it. But, there are many common spaces for use so you don't have to spend so much time in the tent!

An amazing place to stay. I really enjoyed it. In my tent was 2 Irish lads, both called Thomas, and an Egyptian guy called Machmed. All the boys were great. Such a great atmosphere in the place. The place is spotlessly clean. So close the the Metro Station & S-Train services, which are fantastic. Close to Rema 1000 and of course a McDonald's next door 🍔🥤 The value for money is unbelievable. Next time I'm in Copenhagen, I won't be staying anywhere but Urban Camper Hostel & Bar. Getting a WhatsApp message a few days before leaving home to travel was a lovely, personal touch. The staff were all very friendly, helpful & of course very polite An all-round amazing place 10/10
Can't think of anything to be honest. My whole experience was fantastic.

The location is close to Norreport train station and bus stops making Central Copenhagen and the City Terminal and airport very accessible. It is in a very quiet area of the city All the staff are friendly and the whole vibe is positive and friendly. The rooms/tent are very clean. The beddings are new. The bed is comfortable. Theres a functional bed light and sockets. There's enough showers and toilet for everyone even in peak times. It is well maintained and very clean. One of the cleanest I hostel that I have ever been in. The breakfast is reasonably priced especially for Copenhagen. I highly recommend. Lockers can fit big bags inside the tent and after checkout, for a small fee, you can leave your luggage. A medium suitcase, 2 cabin bags and back pack fitted there.
The idea of urban camping is a better way of providing privacy instead of having an open plan dormitory/hostel. If you're claustrophobic, this isnt for you. It couldve been better if the tent for this purpose has ventilation.

The Hostel staff was exceptionally friendly. They answered all questions I had and even walked us to the room. When I had to re-open the coin-locker because I forgot to place something inside they gave me a new coin for free and when I lost my room card they also gave me a new one for free. Also the tents were a lot quieter than I expected. I brought ear plugs with me and my friends got free ones from the hostel but we didn't end up using them cause it wasn't necessary. The tents were also very clean and the beds were comfy. In the common area they had all kinds of games. The hostel was also incredibly close to the metro station (3min). Overall good accommodation for the price.
The Hostel has no kitchen. We knew that beforehand but it still turned out to be quiet a big problem. You can't even warm anything up so be prepared to survive on cold wraps and pre-made salads from the supermarket or go to McDonald's all the time (it's like 1min from the hostel.) Also in the evening the common area turns into a bar, so it's not the best place for a quiet dinner. The breakfast is a bit disappointing. The tents were ok overall, but badly lit, we had to use the flashlight all the time, even during the day. The showers could have been a bit cleaner, but otherwise the bathrooms were good. Also the rental bikes are not suitable for very small people. My friend who is 150cm couldn't use them.

I liked the politics of silent hours and pretty good sound proof. While it was pretty noisy in the common area, the living space was keeping quiet. The location is good, pretty close to the city center, metro, grocery stores. There was a possibility of renting a bike, byuing some necessary things such as padlocks, raincoat etc. The staff is friendly and helpful.
We were living in inside-tents, not rooms, so these tents are only suitable for sleeping, there were only bads and lockers. Also the ventilation is not perfect, so without windows it lacks some fresh air. Also these tents are not locked at all, which also makes one feel a bit insecure even if the hostel staff is working 24/7.

The tent was big enough and comfortable. The whole facility was very clean. Visitors usually followed the rules to stay silent after 10pm in the sleeping area. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was good and cheap and we could eat and drink as much as we wanted. Also the breakfast is betweeen 7-10 am, wich was a really comfortable time period for us.
We had to bring our own lock for the lockers or buy one and there is no hair drier in the bathroom, we can only rent one. Also, I really missed just one small kitchen corner with an electric kettle and a microwawe for a late night self service tea and dinner. It would be much comfortable if these were provided and included in the price.

Very convenient location with easy access to the city center by public transport. Oriental Supermarket, coffeeshops and plenty of restaurants in middle eastern dominated neighbourhood. Hostel Staff is very welcoming and pleasant. Beds are very comfy and the rooms are warm. 4 lockers per tend, do not forget your locks. Showers on the second floor. Very convenient. Toiletries for purchase at the reception, if one has forgotten shampoo/ shower gel, toothpaste etc. Washing machines and dryers are available 24/7, which are located in the bar. I haven’t seen them in use, but it costs 20dkk per cycle. Breakfast is basic but absolutely sufficient. Bread rolls are fresh and crispy. The filter coffee is strong. Lockers are available for 20dkk if one would like to explore the city without the luggage after check out. Overall a very pleasant experience.

The "living room". Big space where there I could hang out, meet people, play a game, have a beer at the bar, buy something to eat, or even bring my own food and drinks (except alcohol, which is understandable). Close to a mini food truck with amazing food and also close to the supermarket. Close to a station where you could get to the city centre very easily, by bus train or metro.
The fact that the bathroom in the living room was very dark was strange. I couldn't see if the toilet seat etc. was clean. The bathroom and showers at the tent area looked clean but the showers still smelled of pee during my whole stay.

As other people have said the ONLY “bad” thing about this hostel was the funny smell in showers. But it really wasn’t that bad. Otherwise you’re in a central location with great access to train, metro and bus stations near by or a 30 minute walk to almost any land mark in Copenhagen. The hostel was extremely clean, staff were friendly and helpful, the common room and bathrooms were also very spacious. The bar was great, and the hostel had breakfast for sale every morning along with other snacks and things you could buy throughout the day. The camper vibe was cute, all rooms had a large locker for bags, charging points next to each bed and a little bench aswell. I would come back, and I highly recommend.
