The staff was the highlight. They were kind and helpful and made the stay very comfortable and easy. The room was comfortable and nicely designed. There wasn’t a lot of storage for clothing and I could only hang jackets on hooks. It didn’t matter to me but it could be tricky for some. The location was perfect and the common area were beautiful. All the bathrooms were clean and organized (and beautiful) that it didn’t matter that everyone had to share. It was noisy at times, the floors creak and the doors were loud. You can hear children in their rooms and conversation in the room next to you. I didn’t play music to avoid bothering others. I also had to sleep with white noise on to sleep better. Once I got that down, the noise didn’t bother me. Overall a wonderful stay and would stay here again. Very good value to stay here. Close to bakeries and restaurants. Rented a bike for 3 days through the hotel. Lovely neighborhood away from the touristy areas. 4 min walk to a metro. This hotel is a good choice!

Great value to stay here but there is some noise.

Loved how cute and perfect each corner of this place is. The owners were welcoming and informative! Bedrooms were a lovely and comfy space and bathrooms clean. We didn’t have to wait for any showers as there are many on each level. Coffee and tea provided all day which we loved. Location is fantastic - we lime biked everywhere and walked to cafes restaurants etc. near the station too so very easy to get to and from the airport. We just had the best time! Thanks Rye115

The staff were amazing, very positive people. Overall the accommodation was very clean.

The rooms were not well soundproofed, so it got a bit noisy in the morning. Also, there was no kettle in the room to make your own tea or coffee. While there was a container with warm water in the common area, it ran out a few hours after the staff left for the day. It’s unclear why a kettle isn’t provided—either in the rooms or at least in the common area—but it does feel a bit inconvenient. We were aware that the rooms didn’t have kettles and appreciated the effort to offer warm water instead, but unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be sufficient, especially during busy periods.

My family and I stayed at Rye 115 this past week for one night as we were visiting Copenhagen. The facility was super clean, our room was spacious, and the breakfast was delicious. The owner emailed with me back and forth and gave my family suggestions on what we should see. He also called me by name every time we entered or exited the building. I cannot begin to describe how much I loved staying here.

I was worried about the shared bathroom when I booked the room. It turns out it was no big deal. On my hall, there were 3 bathrooms with toilets and showers. I never had to wait to use the restroom and they were super clean. They provided robes, slippers, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryers. I didn't have to bring any of those toiletries with me.

Very spacious room and well-located for getting around the city (or parkrun, very nearby). Several good shops in the immediate area, or not too far by walking or public transport to get just about anywhere. Very clean in the room and felt comfortable & safe. The lounge area is also nice to sit in for a break during the day. Staff were helpful during opening hours and by email.

Not sure if I was just unlucky, but there were 3 times in a 2-night stay where there was either no toilet paper in the bathroom I used, or a very low amount–and different bathrooms each time. I don't know why they don't just leave a few rolls in the bathrooms! Also I'm fine with limited staffed hours but I want to be able to make a tea at any time—there was no way to get hot water in the evenings. Finally, the floors were very squeaky loud and I felt I was always bothering everyone just walking around (the walls are thin). All these things weren't bad enough to turn me off from staying here again but I'd know to bring my own tp, earplugs & travel kettle haha

We LOVED the decor of the hotel. It’s so uniquely done and you can tell a lot of thought has been put into making each room feel special. The shared bathrooms were clean and again reallly nicely decorated. There was only one occasion when we had to wait for one to become free (but we did only try the two closest to us!) The staff were really accommodating and flexible, allowing us to bag drop upon arrival and leave bags when we checked out. We enjoyed the ‘home from home’ feel. The communal spaces were great, we only wished we’d spent more time in them! Being able to rent bikes from the hotel was really convenient!

There was a lack of hanging space in the room. The hotel offers free tea and coffee which is great, it however, sometimes it was cold/empty and when staff were not around it was disappointing that we couldn’t enjoy a hot drink. The hotel ‘honesty’ bar was also a really cute touch but not super cheap, which put us off.

We loved this authentic danish vibe, interior and the amazing hosts. True gem is a community space which is so enjoyable and pretty. Other than that it was very clean, and beds were very very comfortable and cozy. I slept so well. Last thing is, although it’s not super central, location is great value for the money considering the how close the metro station is and the very nice and lively neighborhood.

We really enjoyed everything. Not having the bathroom in a room can be also seen as having multiple bathrooms, when you need them. 😊

Despite the bathroom is shared, it was always clean and comfortable. I believe the price reflected the fact that the room didn’t have its own bathroom. There were 4 bathrooms on the floor so it wasn’t an issue. The whole place was stylishly decorated, it was nice to have a drink at their living room or the balcony. The bed was really comfortable even to my problem back. The room is spacious even we had an extra bed added. The breakfast was delicious, and I personally preferred it was a buffet to ensure limited food waste. The location was great, there were so many restaurants and cafes nearby. I really like their slippers and unfortunately I forgot to buy a pair before leaving, so will need to come back next time!

It would be great to include hair dryer in the room but it was available on demand. The hotel took up 2 floors in the building, the common area in the building was not as cozy and stylish as inside the hotel, but once you are inside it was welcoming and like home away from home.

The decoration of the rooms is lovely as well as the whole 'grand hotel' atmosphere. The rooms are very well equipped. Thanks to the good windows you can't hear the noise from the street.

The whole breakfast concept is not really good value for money. I suggest you just go for breakfast as a regular guest and get from the menu whatever you want - it is also cheaper that way. There are two receptionists that are mostly in a bad mood. Fortunately, there are also others, so try to catch them if you need anything.

Cosy space in a great location away from the business of the centre but close enough to get there on foot.

The doors opening and closing are very loud and the rooms are not very soundproof. When the person next to us opened their door, it sounded like they were opening our door and we woke up every time. Even when closing the lock and turning the handle very slowly and carefully it always made a loud clinking sound, maybe the mechanisms can be updated for something more quiet.
