We had room 4132 and it had amazing windows with a beautiful view of the new quarter, the harbour and the sea. We almost missed our flight today because we sat on the windowsills for so long admiring the view and trying to remember this beautiful city! The room was designed by excellent designers, many solutions I wanted to apply in my flat during the next renovation.

From minuses it is absence of dryer for laundry, though there is a washing machine. Next is the lack of a towel dryer in the bathroom. And probably the main disadvantage in winter time is poor insulation of windows. The windows are amazing, but they were blowing and we had to put the window near the bed with all the pleiades that were in the room.

Charlottehaven is perfectly located—right by the Nordhavn harbour baths, close to the metro, and surrounded by great cafés. It's also near the ferry bus stop, which is a fun and scenic way to explore the city. Supermarkets are just around the corner too, making everything super convenient. The gym is well-equipped, and the pool is really nice—perfect for a relaxing swim or quick workout.

Breakfast is quite expensive and the selection is limited. You pay based on how many items you want—for example, 165 DKK gets you just 5 items. For the price, they could have offered a more generous continental spread. Our room in the tower building was very warm in July, with no air conditioning and only small slit windows that barely opens, offering little ventilation. We were sweltering and had to request a fan. For this price point, AC should really be standard. Rooms are only cleaned every 7 days or upon request which may not suit everyone. Also, umbrellas aren’t available to borrow—you have to rent one for 200 DKK for 48 hours, which feels a bit much.

This was hands down the best property we stayed in during our 2 week European holiday. The apartment was spacious with beautiful views (we splurged on the tower block, totally worth it) , clean and had good quality fittings, Milton Brown toiletries. We slept well on the bed. It was a home away from home. Metro and train just a couple of mins walk away. Cafes about 10-15 mins walk, including the trendy Juno the Bakery. Several supermarkets around, too. The property is 15 mins ride by metro/train from the city centre but it’s very doable and not an inconvenience at all. Super safe neighbourhood too. Wish we could return again. We didn’t try the breakfast as we don’t eat buffets. Hotel staff also kindly called us a taxi when it was time to go to the airport.

The induction oven had a bit of a learning curve as we couldn’t figure out how to operate it (you have to press down continuously on the up and down arrows to make it hotter). And when we called at 10pm there was no one at the reception. But we figured it out after a while. We also booked this property partly because of the gym and pool but when we visited it at 10am both were super crowded. It’s because it’s a health club with memberships and hotel guests get free access. Anyway we were too tired to use it most days.

Good proximity to Metro and S Trains. Rema supermarket close by. The apartment was good, had most things we needed - would have liked a higher floor as there was no view. Cromecast worked well and staff were very helpful. Overall, we had a great stay for two weeks and would recommend.

No restaurants or bakeries nearby so we ended up eating in most nights. Would not recommend hiring a car as parking all over Copenhagen is almost impossible. We ended up returning our hire car early and used trains which were fast and efficient. A small thing but important - kitchen needs small plates, breakfast bowls and egg cups. Oven/microwave was difficult to operate.

Charlottehaven was beautiful and conveniently located within 5 minutes walk from both the Nordhavn Train and Metro Stations. All of the staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly. The stay included access to the gym and pool area, and I'd note that the gym facilities were top quality. We decided to have brunch one morning and breakfast another, both of which were fantastic. Though we were staying in the "Garden" area, we were able to take the lift up to the rooftop viewpoint of the "Tower" building, which offered fantastic 360 degree views of Copenhagen and beyond.

If we wanted to add any baby/toddler extras (e.g. a cot) this came at a minimum rate of 250 DKK per night, even if we only needed the cot and no other items (e.g. toys). This felt quite inflexible but we opted for it anyway and it was useful to have the cot all set up with bedding included for our arrival.

We found the apartment cosy, comfortable and well-appointed. It is stylish and modern with a balcony which we were able to use a little even though we were there in March. It was nice to have a reception area rather than have to pick up keys from a box with a number code. The receptionists were also helpful when we needed information. Public transport is very near by - metro, s-trains and buses, so getting around was very easy and convenient. The one suggestion we'd make is to have a choice of pillows. The ones in the bedroom were very soft. If a firmer pillow could be offered that would be appreciated.

E verything was good, but maybe get rid of the plastic plant on the bedroom window-sill - it was out of synch with the otherwise stylish look of the apartment.

Very nicely decorated apartment, with almost all that you might need. The location is very good, close to the metro station and modern new neighbourhoods in the harbour. The staff is friendly and helpful. I used the gym, which is really large and actually useful. The apartment and whole hotel were spotless, including gym changing rooms.

Noise isolation in the apartment is poor and if you are unlucky, you can get waken up in the morning by the neighbour's kids running out of bed at 7 in the morning or yelling across the hall. There was no shoes cleaning kit nor drying rack, if anybody needs them. The gym was a bit crowded as it is used also by the gym members, not only by hotel guests, and some of the machines needs a membership. You need a swimming cap to be able to swim in the pool.

The location is off the beaten path but nice and residential area, 5 minute walk to sea and metro and famous bakeries. The rooms are nice and spacious and well designed with good details on comfort and ergonomics. The spa facilities are also nice.l - big clean pool and saunas.

If you are not staying in same building as spa, you need to walk few minutes outside to go between your room & spa - which was not what we expected. It was a lot of hassle. The saunas are seperate for female and male so you can’t enjoy them as couples. Would recommend these info to be shared in advance. We didn’t have the greatest room layout but hotel stuff was very kind and helpful to try to find a different solution.

Modern apartment with balcony - perfect for relaxing after busy days exploring Copenhagen. Apartment was super comfortable, beds excellent , towels & bathrobes soft & fluffy! Plenty of room for all 4 of us. We loved that it was out of the hustle & bustle, felt very calming to come home, lovely neighbourhood. Try the Meny supermarket for high quality snacks & groceries. And don’t miss out on exploring Nordhavn - the walk around the waterfront, swimming area & cafes around there were super. We can recommend John & Woo, excellent grown-up dining/drinks & options for two fussy teenagers (burgers!). Or head away from the waterfront through a few local streets to a lovely park. My boys loved the pool at the hotel, simply stunning. Breakfast / cafe area was very good, lots of healthy options. Everything we needed was there inc shower gel, shampoo & conditioner in the bathroom and kitchen supplies like dishwasher tabs, tea towels & washing up liquid. A couple of complimentary coffee pods & welcome chocs were a lovely touch. Every member of staff we spoken to was super friendly & always with a smile. One of the best places we’ve stayed at - don’t hesitate to book or be put off by the location. It’s a beautiful place!

Everything is thoughtfully stocked, and the tech touches throughout the unit (like smart lighting and seamless check-in) make for a smooth, modern stay. The apartments are impressively spacious, well-designed, and offer excellent value for money. A perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and service.

Very little
